Effects

Say what you will about the Center for Medical Progress’ video stings of Planned Parenthood; they’ve done one thing masterfully; they’ve taken abortion out of abstract realm that many conservatives who focus on other issues, and even many liberals with consciences, had shunted it into, and made the issue very, very sickeningly real.

David French at NRO in re the latest round of videos:

Federal law defines “born alive” as “the complete expulsion or extraction from his or her mother of that member, at any stage of development, who after such expulsion or extraction breathes or has a beating heart, pulsation of the umbilical cord, or definite movement of voluntary muscles, regardless of whether the umbilical cord has been cut, and regardless of whether the expulsion or extraction occurs as a result of natural or induced labor, cesarean s

ection, or induced abortion.” So, yes, “technically” that child was alive. California law is also clear: “The rights to medical treatment of an infant prematurely born alive in the course of an abortion shall be the same as the rights of an infant of similar medical status prematurely born spontaneously.” But that’s not what happened. StemExpress wanted to “procure a brain,” so the baby had to die in gruesome fashion…

And there’s nothing “abstract” about it:

It had a face. It wasn’t completely torn up. It’s nose was very pronounced. It had eyelids. And its mouth was pronounced. And then since the fetus was so intact, she said, “Okay, this is a really good fetus, and it looks like we can procure a lot from it. We’re going to procure a brain. So . . . the moment I hear it . . . that means we’re going to have to cut its head open. We’re going to have to cut its head open.

It gets much worse.

I’m sorely tempted to print the whole article up and leave it on the sidewalk in front of Planned Parenthood.

  1. I don’t get it. This gal has made very specific accusations of serious felony crimes; why have the coppers not interviewed her yet?

LE scours social media for evidence of crimes as a matter of routine, and uses what they find as evidence to procure search and arrest warrants.

This whole nasty mess continues to be an indictment of society as a whole.

  2. Wonder why you’re not seeing the videos/reports from the Democrat Party Dominated Media Infotainment Culture? Here’s an answer…
    http://www.redstate.com/2015/08/20/bought-paid-16-journalists-accept-awards-planned-parenthood/
Saw on Twitter earlier where ‘journalists’ have outed one of the anti-abort women featured in the videos as a “HYPOCRITE” because she (or at least someone with the same name) has an account on some website that facilitates people to get together to have sex. The pro-aborts apparently believe that if you are anti-abort, you are required not to have sex.

  3. Planned Baby Parts is threatening to sue CMP. If they do, we can expect ex-Nazi’s to sue Jews.

  4. If you don’t do it, I will! In fact, even if you do it, I will, too.

Looks like the protest this Saturday will do the job.

  5. Sometimes people tire of cries of MSM biasness. But what got more MSM airtime?
    A) A 10 second phone clip of drunken frat boys singing a racist song.
    or
    B) A video tape of a Planned Parenthood employee talking about infantcide?

  6. Mitch, next time you’re out and about the North End, swing by Rice Street and Highway 36. Planned Parenthood just built a clinic on the Northeast corner of the intersection. This is the very best prime commercial real estate – the McDonalds next door and Subway across the frontage road don’t have as good a location – so I’ve got to ask “How much did they pay for it and with whose dollars” and more importantly “Why is an abortion clinic located in a highway commercial zone?” I understand putting McDonald’s there – drivers see the sign and say “I could go for some fries.” Does the City think women driving by will see the PP sign and say “Hey, that’s what I want, an abortion.” Weird choice of location.

  7. So we have a PP clinic next to Hub Hobbies? Great.

Whey there? They can “serve” blacks on Rice Street and Asians in East St Paul. Why on such hot property? Because they have the money.
