Good Thing I’m Not President
By Johnny Roosh
Because I’d probably be pretty dangerous in the White House…to our most conspicuous enemies.
Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s continued overt threats to wipe Israel (or any other country for that matter) off the planet coupled with recent intelligence revealing a new nuclear facility would be met with a different tact than our Hippy-Wimp-in-Chief has chosen.
President Barack Obama is offering Iran “a serious, meaningful dialogue” over its disputed nuclear program, while warning Tehran of grave consequences from a united global front.
“Iran’s leaders must now choose – they can live up to their responsibilities and achieve integration with the community of nations. Or they will face increased pressure and isolation, and deny opportunity to their own people,” Obama said in his radio and Internet address Saturday.
Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is like a young unmedicated schoolchild.
Continued rhetoric without consequences, without punishment, has emboldened him. Just like a young child, repeatedly told “No” but without limits and punishment will turn into a spoiled maladjusted kid, Iran has given the rest of the world the bird.
The fact that the same party that let Osama Bin Laden slip through their fingers occupies Congress and the White House no doubt further stokes the fires of insanity; an opportunity to bully the other school kids while the Principal is on sabbatical.
Jimmy II recently informed Ahmadinejad he’s “breaking the rules” and later this week ratcheted up his teleprompter which in turn threatened Iran’s President with the dark storm clouds of “serious dialogue.”
Chilling.
Does that mean Michelle’s husband will have his publicist produce words with more syllables? That he’ll enlist multiple teleprompters? Employ a laser pointer or a PowerPoint presentation?
Iran’s current leadership has been directly or indirectly responsible for the deaths of many of our young men and women in Iraq, extending already excruciatingly long tours of duty for our brave young soldiers. Ahmadinejad represents a faction that resents Western freedoms and prosperity and will stop at nothing to destroy us to level the playing field and will not be bargained with or swayed by chit chat.
They have threatened peaceful nations and have shown time and again that they are not to be trusted and at the same time hold their ostensibly peaceful citizens hostage while exposing them to future military retaliation. Every week that goes by they grow in their ability to wreak havoc across much of Europe – and that’s based on what we know.
If I were President, that nuclear facility would be gone today. By lunch. On a Saturday. I’d make a call on the Batline and warn the weekend Janitor. The smoke would be clear by Monday morning.
It’s called a cruise missile, Mr. President, and his ass, up put, should be one.
So it’s a good thing, for Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, that I’m not President, and am armed only with a laptop whose battery has 19% charge left.

You convinced me. It is time fire up the Air Force and take out GOP headquarters.

Roosh fantasized: “The fact that the same party that let Osama Bin Laden slip through their fingers occupies Congress and the White House no doubt further stokes the fires of insanity; an opportunity to bully the other school kids while the Principal is on sabbatical.”
Um, you get that there was a Republican administration for 7 1/2 years after 9/11, right?
Jeez, Roosh, more retarded stuff comes out of you than Sarah Palin.

RickDFL proves my point — the left is much more interested in demonizing and making war on their fellow Americans than they are in confronting our enemies overseas.
Health care providers, Wall Street, and the GOP: the new Axis of Evil.

Badmood Achmeninutjob should also be happy that the MOB doesn’t have any cruise missiles under the Mayor’s control.

RickDFL,
My sincere apologies.
This version of blogging software doesn’t allow a commenter to delete their own comments once they are published. I am certain in retrospect you certainly didn’t intend to condone domestic terrorism, or otherwise elevate someone like Ahmadinejad above your fellow Americans even if they don’t share your political bent.
I was going to email you to see if you wanted me to delete your comment before anyone else saw it, but alas; too late for that.
I can only imagine the agony you instantly suffered having realized that you actually pushed the “submit comment” button after pecking your response in haste, never intending to actually go through with it.
Sadly for you, the hundreds and hundreds of daily visitors to this blog will view your comment for all eternity.
I am truly sorry for the shame and embarrassment I was unable to spare you of.

Um, you get that there was a Republican administration for 7 1/2 years after 9/11, right?
AC, you are referring to 9/11/2001 right?
You know the attack masterminded by Bin Laden after Bill Clinton failed to kill him when he easily could have? He was instead likely crafting some “serious dialogue” or looking for his cigar.
September 26th, 2009 at 4:59 pm
Obammy wants to have a serious dialog with Iran — a state that does not hide the fact that it has been at war with the US for thirty years.
But American citizens at tea parties or townhall meetings? Pretend they don’t exist.

Rep. Aaron Schock’s (R-Ill.) office in Illinois state capital of Springfield was one of the targets of a planned terrorist attack, his office said Friday.
Michael C. Finton, known as Talib Islam, was arrested Wednesday after trying to detonate a van he believed was stuffed with explosives near the Paul Findley Federal Building in Springfield. Finton had been collaborating on the attack with an undercover FBI agent and is being charged with attempting to murder federal officers or employees and trying to detonate a weapon of mass destruction, according to the Associated Press.

Thanks to his earlier comment, we now know without a doubt whose side RickDFL is on.
That would be insane, violent, convicted criminals who hate America.
September 26th, 2009 at 6:57 pm
RickDFL, im sorry. I thought you were a sane, rational person but the comment posted above puts you into moonbat, batsh*t crazy, territory. You would rather bomb GOP headquarters than the head choppers for allah? Wow…
September 26th, 2009 at 7:19 pm
Yeah Roosh, the guy that killed 2000 Americans at the start of Shrub’s first term. You’d have thought that might have made him somebody the President was interested in finding sometime in the next seven-plus years. I guess he was busy invading some unrelated country or choking on pretzel.
Trig Palin thinks you’re dumb, Roosh.
September 26th, 2009 at 8:19 pm
Both Angry Clown’s Democrat senators voted in favor of “invading some unrelated country “. Did that mean ol’ Mr. Bush outsmart them? Obammy Thought they were so smart that he selected one of them to be his Secretary of State.
Trig Palin has Downes Syndrome. You’ve got no excuse, angry clown.

AC, didn’t BJ Bill have a chance to take out OBL but he decided to call off the airstrike because he didn’t want to worry about collateral damage so instead. So if were attacked under Obama we can blame him right, or will that still be Bush’s fault somehow in your f***** up world.
September 26th, 2009 at 11:40 pm
AC, Bush was in office for about 8 months as of 9/11/2001. The prior 8 years we had William J. Clinton in the White House.
The 9/11 terrorists came into this country and began planning there attack under Clinton. Has Clinton not neutered the CIA.
OBL wasn’t hiding in a cave duing the prior to 9/11. By invading Iraq, did the US put resources into finding enemy #2, that could have been used to find enemy #1? They did, but what’s wrong with that. As I recall, it took about 9 months to find BH living in a spider hole.
OBL needs to be found for the sake of justice. He’s mainly a figure head for terrorists these days, I doubt he is spending much time training them or even talking to them these days.
The Bush Doctrine had several objectives, and for the most part it was successful. Why do moonbats focus on the negatives, while ignoring the many positives.
September 27th, 2009 at 12:10 am
hey AC what do you think about Obama extending the Patriot Act? Didn’t he campaign against it?
September 27th, 2009 at 2:58 am
Obama also heavily criticized Hillary for promoting a health care reform that would require people to buy medical insurance. He also criticized McCain for proposing to tax health care benefits & offset the cost with a tax credit.
You’d have to be a real moron to believe what Obammy said back then. Or to defend him now because he’s ‘smart’. All he had to be was smarter than the 53% of people who voted for him.

UPDATE: Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s response to Obama and his “serious dialogue”:
Iran says short-range missiles test-fired during Revolutionary Guard drills
September 27th, 2009 at 1:44 pm
It would seem looking back, that both Clinton and G. ‘W.’ Bush failed to stop Osama bin Laden.
Looking at the statements made by Obama, flanked by the UK and France, and supported by Russia and other countries, what struck me was the similarity to the consensus formed by G. H. W. Bush towards Iraq during his term in office. Just my humble opinion, but I think what Obama did in forming that consensus was essential to any move forward against Iran.
With a bit of luck, by which I mean deliberate planning, that won’t be a military involvement on our part, or on the part of Israel, but instead will consist of applying enough pressure that the current leaders of Iran fold, and the leaders who are supported by the uprisings are able to assert themselves in their place.
I don’t think there is any way that was possible under the previous administration.
September 27th, 2009 at 2:14 pm
It would seem looking back, that both Clinton and G. ‘W.’ Bush failed to stop Osama bin Laden.
Except Clinton had him in his sights and couldn’t pull the trigger. Once 9/11 had ocurred, OBL went into deep hiding. We may never find him now.
Just my humble opinion, but I think what Obama did in forming that consensus was essential to any move forward against Iran.
According to news reports, Iran has agreed to inspection while at the same time is testing missiles that can reach Israel…literally today. Inspections will begin reportedly within a few weeks. I can’t imagine that’s not enough time to hide or move the items subject to inspection.
It’s a shell game. Iran is playing Obama like the plebe that he is.
September 27th, 2009 at 3:16 pm
We have the example of Iraq.
The coalition placed it under crippling economic & military sanctions for nearly a decade, we had weapons inspectors in there for over five years and the Iraqis kept a nuclear program going under their noses. Four months after the inspectors were reintroduced, and with Iraq under imminent threat of invasion, Hans Blix still could not certify Iraqi disarmament.
Obviously Iran is not Iraq. Still, the lesson does not allow for much optimism.
Obama is a person who believes that his skillset — talking — can resolve all issues. It can’t.
September 27th, 2009 at 4:26 pm
Realistically, Iran’s going to get a nuclear bomb. The only country that can stop that from happening without using nuclear weapons is the US, and I don’t know where the armored divisions would come from, even if Obama were willing to try to generate the support to use them.
Israel can’t save everybody else’s metaphorical bacon (heh) this time, a la Osirak, because the Iranians learned from Osirak. I think they’ll probably try a conventional strike or two to buy time and slow down the program, but there’s limits to what the IAF can do at the outer limits of their range, and not significantly smaller ones for this problem even if they could get refueling support from the US. I don’t see any reason to think that Israel will use the one method that they, technically, have to shut down the Iranian nuclear plants.
So the real question is whether the Iranians will use their new nuclear weapons for leverage, or really use them. If they do, Israel predictably will retaliate, and not with a focused strike or twelve on the hidden Iranian faciliites. It’s going to get really ugly, and the talk about considering the possibility of discussing the considerations around imposing sanctions is just a sideshow.
September 27th, 2009 at 10:37 pm
It might get interesting …IF, IF, IF…the sanctions are more effective than an international version of a domestic restraining order. Additional economic hardship in Iran could be the tipping point for another revolution. I don’t get the sense that the Iranian population is as cowed as the Iraqis were under Saddam.

Hello, Israel anyone, anyone? Joel and NW, I wouldn’t be surprised if Israel takes out the sites within a month maybe even a week. Hell, tomorrow is Yom Kippur, they may return the favor because I believe that is either when the 6 day war (1967) or the 1973 war started. The second the Mossad gets a whif that Iran is within a few days of finishing a nuke, the F-16’s with either bunker busters or conventional nukes will be loaded and sent to Iran to get the job done, international relations be damned. Have you all not read Vince Flynn? Check out Protect and Defend where this similar (if not exact) scernaio played out in “fiction”.
September 27th, 2009 at 10:58 pm
And joel, what happened to jewwithagun.com? That was probably the best/funniest URL on the net.
September 27th, 2009 at 11:23 pm
? http://jewwithagun.com/ is still very much there. If you’re looking for the funny one, you’re probably thinking of http://icanhazgunpermit.com .
