Grounded
By Mitch Berg
It was 112 years ago this December that mankind conquered heavier than air flight.
Air transportation, as a viable industry, followed within about 30 years.
And today, just shy of the hundredth anniversary of commercial air transportation, we may be on the brink of making air travel extinct.

How do you get out to go to the bathroom? Or do you pass a cup along to the stewardess?

Did you say bathroom, Mingo? Stewardess? Bahaha!

Tweety, the first thing I do when I get on an airplane is ask the stewardess for directions to the bathroom.

Given that the seat backs are one piece, good luck reclining. That will be killer on long flights.

Plus, there is a huge issue with “weight” on planes. Somebody isn’t familiar with even the basics of aviation FMEAs, to put it mildly.

I think it was either a Russian or a black man that invented the airplane. Or a gay Indian woman.

I have zero sympathy for people who piss and moan about this sort of thing. You can have as much room, comfort, service and privacy in air transportation as you are willing or able to pay for.
