Where’s The Beef?

King Banaian is ending 22 years of vegetarianism tomorrow. It’s for medical reasons, natch.
And his inaugural hit is going to be tomorrow at the Minnesota State Fair, and he needs your help.
He’s running a poll to see what the first meat is going to be. The choices are Buffalo, Gator, Elk, Turkey or Corn Dog. For the love of the great almighty, please don’t vote for the Corn Dog.
Bummer that he left the Wild Boar off the list. That’s yummy.

Or, one of Mitch’s favorites, some kind of bacon? (pork chop on a stick?)
With the white tailed deer our state animal (well one of them anyway) doesn’t it seem a shame there isn’t venison available at the fair – or did I miss it? Bambi on a stick….

I would have gone for the turkey but I don’t like drumsticks and I love kebabs so my vote was for the buffalo.
Although I’m curious how elk tastes in relation to venison (which is the closest I’ve had).
I’d go vegetarian before I ate a corn dog.
