Well, that was a pretty good episode. One of the best lately…although we missed the 2 hr special (10 minutes into it the station-out of Fargo-went off the air for the next 4 hours! Aaaarggh!!!). So, we missed that…then the next Monday we were coming back from ND on Monday, President’s Day and since it FELT like Sunday, when we got home we just proceeded to put the Target-bought stuff away and piddle around til (too late) we remembered it was actually Monday…aaargh again!
But come to find out, ya really don’t miss all that much sometimes. We got caught right back up in no time.
I wish that 24 would have a more compelling Prez or VP sometime-they’re all creepy or ineffectual (Palmer II).
Why didn’t that Russian dude just call CTU from the room he was in with Jack?!

Because he had to get killed by the Russian plant. Jeez, Colleeen, you should be able to predict this by now.
I thought it was patently absurd that Jack would go back in to the embassy in the first place, but then,I don’t have the whole story yet.

This was one of the better episodes. I knew it was going to be cliff hanger frustrating, but it is still way over board Hollywood for me. Lennox’s bad guy/good guy/bad guy chameleon character is the most interesting. Powers Booth is one of my favorite actors so he will keep me involved. I am intrigued by the new CTU team leader (ie Jack Wannebee clone). Mitch?!?, How dark do you think his Red Shirt is? Think He’ll make it through the whole episode next week?
I’m in for the long haul of my first season of 24, but I could really use another 2 hour sequence, 60 minutes isn’t long enough, especially with the TIVO.

Yeah (I MUST be naive) but I was surprised when Lennox turned on those two (the Rob Lowe character and the “other guy”) and turned them in. Too bad Assad was killed-he was a good character (or WAS he killed-I thought I saw him a preview of next week…?).
