Now the question is whether they’ll use German, Norse, or Heavy Metal umlauts. That’s a key question. Judging by Seflores’ comment, I’m guessing the Heavy Metal ones.

A bigger issue involved here is that the reason it was removed in the first place is due to federal government regulations. Yes, some fat bureaucrat in DC controls the script on city signs in Minnesota. That is why NYC had to remove all of their perfectly readable street signs (the ones on corners saying which street you are crossing) and replace them with ones having the proper format, at the cost of several million dollars.
