A Note From Human Resources

While the news from the rest of the economy remains dicey, Associate Executive Publisher Johnny Roosh and I are proud to announce that Shot In The Dark is increasing our headcount of unpaid writers by 50%.

Starting Monday, look for another “new” writer – actually a familiar face – at Shot In The Dark.

  1. Heh. Nah. DG and I are old friends, but this blog will always be politically conservative.

  2. Angryclown looks forward to receiving constructive feedback from all you far-right wingnut Mitchketeers as he undertakes the challenge of writing for Shot in the Dark.

  3. It better not be Penigma. You couldn’t afford the bandwidth of even one Penigma post. That, and you’d lose readers in droves.

I second that MoN. Mitch as a friend, will always have my support, regardless of agreement or disagreement about politics or cultural issues.

I am happy if I make a positive contribution on the blogs where I already write. And, when I comment, I hope it is a positive contribution here. Whatever I add, I find the dissenting comments add as much or not more, providing a valuable facet to discussion that unanimous agreement cannot.

Best wishes for continued growth with your new addition; a suggestion, from my own perspective is that an occasional feminine point of view would be good balance.

One of the other blogs where I have been added as a writer is hoping to expand to 10 writers by the end of the year (I think we are at 7 now). More exciting to me is that they are adding an additional paid editor position, hiring from among existing writers; I am thrilled to be one of those under consideration. I hope, Mitch, you will cross your fingers for me.

I think you might be interested in an idea we are exploring, to cross promote blogs that so far have been linked. Google and other search engines penalize in how they do their rating for duplication / cross posting. So we are looking at people writing complimentary pieces that contain links to related pieces on other blogs dealing with other aspects of that topic within them to promote overall readership of their of each. Initially it is being tried – including with things I’m writing – between sites that share a perspective.

However, if it IS successful, I think it would be a very exciting idea occasionally to link with a competing / dissenting point of view to address a topic more fully than either view could do alone. Something to think about.

I look forward to reading your newest addition Mitch. Sorry to have worried you MoN.

Well he does have comments from those two chicks Terry and Tracy.

I have a feminine side, it happens to be lesbian. 😉

  7. I like to dot my i’s with a little heart.
That doesn’t show up on the internets.

  8. Actually, I was thinking of Mitch’s daughter possibly following in her dad’s footsteps, La Belle Bun.

Or, if she doesn’t have a political blog of her own, the lady Mitch has been championing for office, Ms. Ng.

Ah, Terry; I can’t imagine you as feminine ever.
