You, behave!
By Johnny Roosh

The Congressional Budget Office has been misbehavin’ – how dare they assert that Government health care won’t save us money.
Obammy says it will!
This may explain the treatment of Douglas Elmendorf, the director of the supposedly nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office who last week told Congress that you can’t “save” money on health care by having government insure everyone.
…because they can do math, unlike Jimmy II.
For that bit of truth-telling, he was first excoriated by Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid.
…a badge of courage as far as I’m concerned.
Then he was summoned, er, invited to the White House for an extraordinary and inappropriate meeting Monday with President Obama and a phalanx of economic and health-care advisers.
Advisers should be in quotes methinks.
Shall we call them the Obama Spanking Machine™?

Thou shalt not question Democrat Jesus(TM). Mother Michelle will smite you, and that will hurt like a sonofabitch.

This is what one party rule looks like. Imagine if Bush had gone to war with Iraq with no house support and with one or two votes in the senate.
Well, in effect that is what happened since the dems were allowed by the media to claw back their support. I bet not one in ten people know that Hillary voted for the Iraq War resolution.
Of course it works the other way, too, if you are a dem, and especially if you are Obammy. Yesterday I heard Obama’s remarks re iraq on the occasion of maliki’s visit. Obama was full of praise for the Iraqi government. Not one word from NPR about how Saddam would still be in charge if Obama had had his way.

…It didn’t take long to run into an “uh-oh” moment when reading the House’s “health care for all Americans” bill. Right there on Page 16 is a provision making individual private medical insurance illegal…
…The provision would indeed outlaw individual private coverage… the “Limitation On New Enrollment” section of the bill clearly states:
“Except as provided in this paragraph, the individual health insurance issuer offering such coverage does not enroll any individual in such coverage if the first effective date of coverage is on or after the first day” of the year the legislation becomes law.
So we can all keep our coverage, just as promised with, of course, exceptions: Those who currently have private individual coverage won’t be able to change it. Nor will those who leave a company to work for themselves be free to buy individual plans from private carriers…

My cartoon bubble has Elmendorf being roughly thrown into a room to find himself face to face with Rahm of Borg.

Why can’t Obama do math?
You’re welcome.

Speak for themselves.
I had to go through all of that before, and it killed a lot of people I knew in Canada, and it goes on killing. Let’s not do that here.

Why can’t Obama do math?
I say that we are about 18 mos away from Obama’s ‘malaise’ speech.
After trying everything his vast experience and education has taught him — shovel money you don’t have to get votes — unemployment will remain > 8% and the DOW will still be flirting with 8,000.
Might be worse numbers, but I’m an optimist.
Obama will, of course, blame the American people and lecture us about how we have to get used to getting by with less.
I only hope America has a Reagan to turn to.

I predict that before the end of the year, you’ll hear an administration official blame the poor economy on “wreckers” and “economic terrorists” meaning the few people who still have money aren’t spending it the way O wants them to.
Re-education camps for “Kulaks” aren’t far behind. Only they’ll be voluntary. Cap-and-trade will push home heating costs so high that northern state paupers will voluntarily emmigrate to southern climes. Sleeping in a tent in Mississippi beats shivering in an unheated loft in NYC.

Maybe those re education camps will be muslim, run by that successful charter school… or someone who was originally from Minnesota?
Re education camps? That seems a little silly as a threat on the horizon, but if it makes you happy to think it is, be happy.
There is an interesting rumor that the liberals have been trying to confirm, that one of Representative Bachmann’s sons is going to work for Americorps as a teacher. That would be the SAME organization that Bachmann feared would be setting up those “RE education camps” following the model of China and the former Soviet Union not too long ago.

Doggy, DHS is already setting up “special facilities” on various military bases. Never let a crisis go to waste.

Look at that, DG trading in unsubstantiated rumor. Who would have imagined?
