Poll: You Can Call Me Al

Color me surprised, but as of this posting, the clear initial winner was “The Senator from New York”

After recounting and recounting however, I was able to arrive at a result more in keeping with the end I had in mind. I will hereby refer to The Senator from New York as Stuart Smalley, and in limited engagements Big Fat Idiot.

Thank you for your participation. I apologize for your disenfranchisement*.

*Yes, that’s a word.

  1. Roosh,

Apparently a manual recount showing Franken the winner, 3 separate unanimous rulings in support, and an electorate satisfied with the outcome STILL aren’t enough to dissuade you from promulgating a myth, namely, that thousands of Minnesotans were a. Illegally or b. Wrongly disenfrancihised.

Too bad you have actually read any of the rulings. If you had, you’d have understood that nothing of the sort happened.

Btw, Norm Coleman also fits your ‘Senator From NY’ bill, I assume you called him such?

  2. Peev forgets Norm actually lived in Minnesota. Unlike Carpetbagger Al. The guy who got more votes than registered voters.

  3. Apparently a manual recount showing Franken the winner,

…that was reached using numerous different standards, and in which most of the additional “new” votes came from Franken strongholds which, mirabile dictu, adopted more lenient recount standards…

3 separate unanimous rulings in support,

    WRONG!

The rulings were not in support of the vote tallies, but affirmed that the recounts were done *in accordance with state law*. Which merely affirmed that the recount took place correctly, according to a flawed law.

and an electorate satisfied with the outcome

What, you’ve graduated from speaking for next-door neighbors to speaking for the entire elctorate now? Amazing!

57% of Minnesota did not vote for Franken. That’s fine – our system says the highest plurality wins. And unlike all you lefties, I’m not going to spend the next six years whining about how he was “selected, not elected”. I’m just going to make damn sure every embarrassing moment of this next six years is exhaustively documented, with the aim of ejecting him from office in 2014.

  4. True enough, Mitch. The Senate Democratic Caucus has just taken a ticking time bomb into its bosom.

  5. I prefer the Tiberius Ceasar quote regarding Caligula. “I’ve nurtured a viper in their bosom”.

  6. I was leaning towards: “Senator FrankenStein” since his piecemeal “VICTORy” was put together by (with) dead peeople.

Funny how a recount resulting in a leftie in office is fine, even justice, but the other way around and it’s the crime of the millenium.

I smell a double standard. DUH!

Now we really have a clown in congress. Hmmmm…”Clown in Congrress” is that an option?

  7. I’m just going to make damn sure every embarrassing moment of this next six years is exhaustively documented, with the aim of ejecting him from office in 2014.

    Yep.

  8. Do your own reading, Penema:

The Supreme Court didn’t say there was no voter fraud; they said Coleman hadn’t proven voter fraud convincingly enough that the Court would be willing to do anything about it.

There’s a world of difference between “innocent” and “case not proven.”

    .

  9. Excuse me, but Norm ‘ The Senator from New York’ LOST, didn’t you get the memo. Al ‘The Senator who actually grew up in Minnesota’ won the election. See, he had the most votes, that means he won. We do things a bit differently here then in Florida, we actually count all the votes and who ever has the most wins.

I know many of you struggle with that.

For all the caterwauling the Left did over the last eight years you all are making them look like Mature responsible adults compared to the hormonal fits of rage you are still going through.

Nice place you got here, ‘mitch’ The more things change, the more they stay the same! It’s like I never left.

    Flash

  10. See, he had the most votes, that means he won.

    You don’t know that.

    It’s like I never left.

You left? It’s like nobody noticed. Try it again.
