New study: porn is a public health crisis.
No, it’s not from a right-wing fundamentalist Christian group. It’s a couple of college professors who want the federal government to stomp out porn on-line, in hotels and in retail shops.
If their dream came true, inevitably some cop would kill a cherub for selling dirty pictures. What would the protest symbol be? Hoodie for Trayvon, Hands Up for Ferguson, perhaps Clutch your Crotch for Porn?

Legions of fans who grew up listening to Eminem already have the gesture in muscle memory.
It occurs to me that there is a generation of adults who grew up listening to Eminem.

Do you imagine it surpasses ‘gun violence’ as a public health issue? ;^)

In the new study, Ms. Bridges said that while some researchers have found neutral or positive outcomes for pornography use, mainstream pornographic materials are “overwhelmingly centered on acts of violence and degradation toward women.”
So gay porn is okay. Take note, Emery!!

It is interesting that the study really doesn’t quantify the damage. Now it is intuitive that porn use would get people to….well, act like the stereotypical porn user. The question is what effects it has. Is it linked to divorce, involuntary singleness, abuse, crime…..? The article does not make this clear.

You think internet porn is bad, wait until Sexbots hit the market. There won’t be enough cats in all of North America for all the feminist spinsters.

The goal of the feminazi’s is to control the male gaze, not eliminate it. The corollary to forbidding male lust that is unwanted is requiring male lust that is wanted. Note that in both cases, the female is still objectified. It’s a matter of who controls the objectification.
