  1. Normally I would say that Warren is beloved by the media and the intellectuals, but she has no hope of getting a majority of presidential votes.
After Obama, I’m not so sure. Warren will not be asked the hard questions about her experience and her past that the media is supposed to ask.

  2. They’ll like her up until she wants ‘smoke from the peace pipe’ The Lib’s are so nuts they’ll reject her even if it’s an “E” – pipe.

  3. If it wasn’t for the law that presidential tickets can’t both be both from the same state, I’d be all for Fauxcohontas-Gruber on the Democratic ticket.

(honestly, when are administrators in Cambridge going to revoke their tenure for that nonsense….tenure’s supposed to protect unpopular ideas, not lying skunks)

  4. Most Americans have never heard of the “Fauxcohontas” controversy.
Remember the Obama-Rezko real estate deal? It was teensy-tiny blip on the radar during the 2008 election. The MSM covered it only to explain that Obama had not been shown guilty of breaking the law.
What the MSM did not report is that Rezko used Obama to push a lot of legislation that benefitted Rezko’s business, and that the kind of real estate swap Obama and Rezko engaged in is not an unusual way to pay off a politician while hiding a paper trail (crook buys real estate for market price, ‘sells’ it to politician for way below market price).
Valerie Jarret was involved in the same kind of public-private real estate deals as Rezko. Obama met her when he worked for Davis, Miner, Barnhill & Galland, who acted as her legal representation. The “Davis” in Davis, Miner, Barnhill & Galland was Allison Davis. Allison Davis was appointed to the Illinois State Board of Investment by disgraced, criminal, Illinois governor Rod Bagojevich.
    What, you didn’t know that?
How deep do you think the MSM will dig into Warren’s past?

  5. Given that Warren was a lying professor until recently, Powhatan, I’m thinking that her paper trail will be a lot shorter than is Comrade Obama’s.

And it strikes me–somewhat off topic here, that the only way to cure this is not to enhance scrutiny of politicians (though that might be a good idea), but rather to cut the ways they can reward their benefactors.

  6. Mitch:

I realize that Hillary might be bad enough for the country, but won’t Elizabeth be worse than Hillary and Obama combined!

  7. Salon is the smack-dab in the Liberal totalitarian mainstream:
It’s Elizabeth Warren’s party now! How to remake it in the liberal heroine’s image
The liberal heroine is a lawyer, a pseudo-intellectual, and a liar.
    Further in the article:
” Twenty years from now, assuming climate change has not yet ended the world as we know it, most American liberals won’t think of this fall as the time when Republicans finally retook control of the U.S. Senate. And they won’t think of it as the brief pause that separated the era of Barack Obama from that of Hillary Clinton. Instead, when the liberals of our near future look back on the current moment, they’ll remember it as the hour when the Democratic Party began to move decisively to the left, thanks in no small part to the continued ascendance of Sen. Elizabeth Warren.”
Exactly how much further left do they think they can go? Left as far as liberal heroes Mao and Stalin?
