When I Say Weather Is More Extreme In North Dakota…
By Mitch Berg
…I mean it.
Oh, yes I do (emphasis added):
Snow has fallen in Dickinson in June, the first time in nearly 60 years the city has seen snow past May.National Weather Service meteorologist Janine Vining in Bismarck says there were unofficial reports of a couple of inches of snow in Dickinson on Saturday.
Snow was actually reported from Bismarck on west.
Go head, Sisyphus. Have Saint Cloud top that.

As the Mayor of Garage Logic would say, “More proof of Global Warming.”

My furnace is on. It’s freaking June. We’d better get Cap and Trade going pronto. Just think of those poor Arctic penguins.
Global Warming is going to kill us all.

I drove through that on Saturday. It was snowing from just east of Glendive, MT to just a little west of Bismarck. Nothing sticking on the roads when I went through, but fields and stationary vehicles were getting an accumulation on them.

Really? And you claim to know a lot about radio? Really? Ha ha ha ha ha
Jamestown ND is balmy compared to Tower MN. Coldest up there was -60 F. Its been a below average spring this year, just had another frost the other night, again.
And you dare claim you don’t even own a hat, eh Mitch. Let us know when the brain thaws. That explains a lot. Ha ha ha ha ha ha

Ahem. Soucheray works for the competition. I don’t generally acknowledge the competition.
Yes, Tower is cold. But is it snowing there? I think not.

No snow here, but on the golf course (SCCC) Sunday I had on what I normally wear in November. And shot about as well.

It doesn’t have to snow to be cold and usually doesn’t snow much with the most extreme cold. It is safe to plant by the 5th of June in northern MN, but not this year. As for the Twin Cities or St.Cloud, they really can’t compete for the bragging rights when it comes to extreme cold.
