Assess And Discuss

The Wall Street Journal wants you to rate the President’s first 100 days.

Go and do it (when I voted, it was an overwhelming “F”).  I gave him a “D”, just because all of that organizing deserves some credit.

Discuss amongst yourselves.  After  you vote.  Unlike the Minnesota Senate election, the counting standards in this poll are pretty clear.

  1. Mitch, how can you give him a “D” or “F” when all his failures are Booosh’s fault?

I gave him a “D” since he could have screwed things up even worser.

  2. Mitch, the first commentor doubts whether Obama is even elligible to be President. I’m not so sure I’d be touting polls like this.

  3. Then don’t tout it, Peev.

It’s Mitch’s blog; he can tout whatever the hell he wants, whenever the hell he wants.

You can go and not tout it on that unread pile of digital crap you call your blog.

    Wiener. Fart. Poopstick.

  4. Did peev bring that strawman over from his Penisblog?

Mitch, by peev’s reasoning you run a left-wing-liberal-moonbat blog, I mean we all have read the mootbat blatherings of Peev, DicDFL, Dogcrap, AssClown, stooj…

Peev, et al, we have yet to hear any skepticism or criticism from you toward President Obama.

  5. If I may actuall address the question, the grade depends on the outcome expected.
If I were to grade him on my expectations, namely that he swiftly push a socialist, big government, big spending agenda, then his grade score would be quite high, B+ minimum.
If, however, he were graded on the Moonbat Curve, which expected immediate withdrawal from Iraq, the end of capitalism now and the summary execution of Bush/Cheney/Rumsfeld, then his grade score would be pretty low, in the Ds.

  6. Mitch, you march yourself right back over there and give Bammy an F, or there will be no dessert for you tonight!

  7. Can’t we break up the grades by subject the way our report cards were back in the day? In that case:

    History: D
    Math/Economics: D-
    Composition (of Cabinet): Incomplete
Social Studies/Current Events: D (needs to read up on Tea Parties)
    English: A (very articulate!)

Plays Well With Others: Needs improvement

  8. I’m willing to give him some credit but, as angryclown probably knows, F typically covers a large percentage of the gradable area: I don’t think he’s anywhere near 60% territory so far. *shrug*

  9. So commenters reflect on a poll? so if Charles Manson left a comment on your blog, you’d have to shut up or be considered complicit in killing Sharon Tate?

I’m not “touting” anything; I’m pointing people to an online poll. One barely needs to disclaim online polls; they’re terribly unreliable.

    But fun.

  10. Kinda like when you get your ass beaten on a game show, they give you the home version. Vote all you like, wingnuts. You’re five months too late!

“Peev, et al, we have yet to hear any skepticism or criticism from you toward President Obama.”

Which only means you don’t know all of our views. I mildly preferred Obama over McCain, but only because McCain put himself following the path of Bush. It has never meant that I was a ga-ga supporter of our president; at most I have modest expectations of his performance. I despise Biden, but still find him slightly less objectionable to Caribou Barbie.

As to a criticism of Obama, if that will gladden your tiny little heart – I am disappointed although not exactly surprised with the relationship between Obama and the Financial industry. Given that no president in the past couple of decades has been able to extricate himself from the influence and pressures of that money, and given the contributions to all the presidential candidates by that industry, I shouldn’t be surprised I guess. I had hoped that with the crisis in that sector, that Obama might finally be in a strong enough position to do something constructive about regulation. There is no excuse for not having fired wholesale the upper management of the institutions that have failed so badly. There has been no equivalent investigation to the Pecorra investigation of the 1930’s where it clearly is badly needed. Banks that under law should have gone into receivership, circa the legislation in the Reagan administration, has instead been given buckets of money without even minimal oversight. There has been no investigation into what appears to be rampant fraud in the unsupervised privatization of services to Iraq that had been previously handled by the military. Most of all though, despite the recent up-trend in the stock markets and other early positive indicators, until the full extent of financial fraud in the mortgage markets and the other financial industries is exposed, I am waiting for the other shoe to drop, quashing any recovery to date. Given that the FBI had indicated widespread fraud back in 2004, and that there have been no replacements for the hundreds upon hundreds of white collar crime agents pulled off of that kind of investigation post 9/11, I’d have to say that I am disappointed that there has been no move that I have found so far by the Obama administration to use money approved for recovery to re-staff those positions. And given the accusations made about the detainee / torture issue, I wish Obama would quit trying to duck something that clearly is not going away, and just get it out in the open, get it sorted as the Brits would say, and be done with it. It is intolerable to have either crimes covered up if there are crimes, or to continue clouds hanging over peoples’ reputations if there are not. Rule of law is what was promised, so lets have that rule of law, not what the executive branch feels is more comfortable for his political goals.

  12. “blah blah blah…… on and on and on… blah blah blah…”
Looks like peev has an admirer; Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

Peev, et al, we have yet to hear any skepticism or criticism from you toward President Obama.
“Which only means you don’t know all of our views.”
No, it only means we have not heard any criticism from “Peev, et al”.

If you don’t want to be considered part of the liberal moon bats you should temper you rhetoric and talking points.

You just couldn’t resist criticizing Bush before you put on the kid gloves for your Obamassiah.

“McCain put himself following the path of Bush.”
At least you didn’t quite call him McSame.

    “less objectionable to Caribou Barbie”
Spoken like a true Useful Idiot spewing talking points with nothing to back it up.

    “your tiny little heart”
A large heart is usually due to heart failure and for that I would recommend seeing a doctor and inquiring about the possiblity of needing a CRT-D or CRT-P.

“As to a criticism of Obama… not exactly surprised… I shouldn’t be surprised I guess… I had hoped… fired wholesale the upper management… regulation… no equivalent investigation… investigation… is badly needed… buckets of money… minimal oversight… investigation… appears to be rampant fraud in the unsupervised privatization of services to Iraq… recent up-trend in the stock markets… positive indicators… other financial industries is exposed… waiting for the other shoe to drop… the FBI had indicated widespread fraud back in 2004… white collar crime agents pulled off… post 9/11… disappointed… the detainee / torture issue… It is intolerable… crimes covered up… continue clouds hanging over peoples’ reputations… rule of law, not what the executive branch feels is more comfortable…”

DogCrap, I suggest you take Badda’s advice if you ever want anyone to take you seriously. Edit your “thoughts” (ie long incoherent ramblings) in word; re-read it and delete most of it in order to stay on point; then read it again before you post it.

Now open up word and try it again.

In your heart you know I am right.

  13. Is’nt Dan Rather retired, DogCrap?

I’ve taken you two to task so often that I was wondering when you were going to “shun” me.

Remember the last time I kicked your ass and there was nothing you could do about it.

  14. Remember the last time I kicked your ass and there was nothing you could do about it.

I remember the last time you wrote that exact line.
