Jennifer Jason Leigh is going to be on “Weeds” this season.
Showtime says the 47-year-old actress will appear on the fifth season of the hit dramedy, which premieres June 8 on Showtime. Leigh will appear in “at least two episodes” as the older sister of Mary-Louise Parker’s character.
Now, I don’t even have Showtime. So why do I note this?
Because for the past twenty-odd years, I have never been able to tell Parker or Leigh apart, or at least have always mixed the two of them up. I couldn’t tell you (without looking at IMDB) which one was in Rush and which was in Fast Times.
In fact, all of that generation of actors that adopted three part names – Sarah Jessica Parker, C. Thomas Howell, Doogie Houser Harris – kinda blend into one big blur for me.

Well, having seen JJL’s boobies in Fast Times, and M-LP’s boobies during the last craptacular season of Weeds, I can confidently state that you’ll never have a problem telling the two apart based off a boobie test alone.
Boobies to me are like fingerprints, or retinal scans.

MLParker, Phoebe Cates, Jennifer Grey, JJLeigh, Madeline Stowe, Chloe Sevigny, Kate Hudson, Parker Posey – I conflate a lot of actresses of that generation.
The only ones that really stand out – SJParker (cuz she bugs me so), Jamie Gertz (because she’s kinda distinctive), Marisa Tomei (because) and…um…maybe Kate Beckinsale?

What scene was that?
Two scenes, actually. In one she’s being doinked in a baseball dugout by some older dude. In the other scene she’s doinked again by a guy that lasts all of three seconds. Lots of boobage in both scenes.
Disclosure: I probably would have only lasted three seconds while doinking “Fast Times” era JJL.
Phoebe Cates’s scene just overshadowed all other bewbie scenes, as was God’s will.
