Good Shooting, Tex
By Mitch Berg
Joe Doakes from Como Park emails:
Two shots, two hits. Nice shooting, especially as he was taking fire at the time.
This being Chicago, I’m amazed the citizen wasn’t arrested too.
The good guys won one, anyway.

Chicago: when you let the dead vote nothing ever changes.
http://dailycaller.com/2014/07/07/city-of-chicago-ordered-to-pay-nras-legal-fees-again/
” The United States District Court in the Northern District of Illinois has ordered the City of Chicago to reimburse $940,000 in legal expenses incurred by the NRA….This is the second time that the City of Chicago has been ordered to reimburse legal fees in a suit sponsored by the NRA. The first was following the U.S. Supreme Court’s landmark ruling in McDonald v. City of Chicago in which Chicago was ordered to reimburse the NRA more than $600,000.”

kel; thanks for the info.
It encourages me that in one of the most corrupt and dedicated liberal states in the country, their Supreme Court appears to be acting in an unbiased manner.

Sniff. I love a story with a happy ending!

HISTORICAL NOTE: Bike Bubba’s comment is exactly the 100,000th approved comment in the eight years my blog has been using WordPress.
Apropos not much.

I’m glad to have participated in such a momentous, or apropos not much. occasion! :^)
Noted a link as well suggesting that there are a few lawsuits going because the state rejected permit applications without comment–hence making it impossible for the applicant to appeal. Looks like corrupt Illinois peace officers (redundant I know) are still having their say.

The bright side is that apparently 50,000 permit holders are out there. So hopefully the thugs on the street in Chicago start getting the message soon, and hopefully the state wakes up that gun owners are not a threat.

This is only the second time that I recall the shooter’s name was NOT in the news, the other being some guy who chased down a purse snatcher and shot him in Minneapolis a couple of years ago.
Veteran. Managed to convince Chicago to grant a permit to carry. And he’s a hell of a shot. But his name is withheld by police and it hasn’t leaked. Amazing. A fed?

Maybe a Councilman, or one of Rahm Emmanuel’s bodyguards.

If it had involved a Chicago alderman, they’d have found a diamond pinkie ring at the scene.
Also, the rumors that each Chicago alderman is allowed to shoot at least four
vassalscitizens per ward, per annum, has not been independently verified.July 9th, 2014 at 2:02 pm

Its been doubled… I mean at least I’ve heard that

Well, if anyone would have the skinny on the ways of Chicago aldermen, it would have to be the Prince of Darkness.

Look some of those guys scare even me, I’m pretty sure one of them will succeed me at some point

Joe, Illinois (corruption capital of the world) started issuing carry permits in March, and has issued 50k overall. Corrupt as Chicago is, they don’t have that many aldermen. My guess is that either the guy minded his Ps & Qs, or the perp and two accomplices were known gang members. Or both.

Wish I could say the same about down here. We have a zoo we keep the alderman in down here.

Also before Jindal came around New Orleans was probably #1.

2 hits and the clown isn’t on PoDs payroll?
This calls for better placement or larger caliber

Clown is walled off from me. Ever since John Wayne Gacey we send clowns to super hell. They are too creepy for regular hell.
