Compare and contrast:
A) Liberal pro-“choice” blogger voluntarily posts ultrasounds of her “fetus” (now a toddler, and congrats, by the way) on blog. Conservative blogger heists photo for (tasteless, but valid) satiric purposes. Liberal bloggers declare world coming to end, demand answers, wonder why people don’t respect others’ privacy.
B) Liberal group “finds security hole” – and, oops, releases scads of private information along with a manifesto declaring that no, “Wikileaks” doesn’t give a rat’s ass that they’re involuntarily splashing information that a bunch of eeeeevul Republican donors had intended to be private all over hell and half an acre? Liberal bloggers declare “can’t you all take a joke? It’s for your own good” (and “suck it, stoopid ReThugliCons, it’s all your fault anyway – which we normally call “Blaming the victims”).
It’s hard to run a civil society when one side’s idea of “civil” is “we can do whatever we can tell ourselves is OK”.
Are the situations the same? Of course not. Show me any of the Coleman donors who put their credit card numbers out there in public and said “don’t you dare do anything with this!”.
The lesson from this: if it’s a Republican candidate or donor, all rules of basic decency are suspended.
Whatever the situation… the Republican and/or conservative is wrong.
What’s more, he (because what sane woman would even consider identifying with any of those thugs?) is malicious and evil.
Just ask Miss Peev.
“people don’t respect others’ privacy”
I don’t think anyone ever accused you or Swift of failing to respect Robin’s privacy.
You’re wrong (as usual). Marty was screeching to anyone who would listen that her privacy had been invaded.
It also is worth mentioning that Marty works for a “The Center for Independent Media”, a George Soros production, but spent more than a year lying about who paid her salary. There really is no bottom to the dark hole of stupid between the ears of some of these people.
Oh, and Mitch? Try some salt. 😉
“Marty was screeching to anyone who would listen that her privacy had been invaded.”

A) Made the mistake of thinking people were morally respectful and got burned.
B) irresponsible and sloppy with other peoples business and now screaming victim because they screwed up.
The lesson from this: if you disagree with someone attack their person and their family, all rules of basic decency are suspended.
May everyone’s public records now be splashed across the inter tubes now that those who run this site think it is ‘valid’
Now, I’ll go sit in the corner for 3 months and feel shame.
May everyone’s public records now be splashed across the inter tubes now that those who run this site think it is ‘valid’
If that’s what you’re taking away from this post, then you really need to read more carefully.
Cmon, you have to give the lefties kudos for a clever play. They make conservatives just a bit more hesitant to contribute next time for fear of identity theft, meanwhile all of their donors are protected by using prepaid credit cards to make donations, so their is no fear using the same trick against them.
Ruthless and devoid of ethics, yes, but it is clever.
“attack their person and their family,”
Let me fix that for you.
“attack their person and their cellular tissue that is, BTW, void of any rights,”
Much better.
MoN, you were too generous with your “attack their person.”
How was Robin attacked? The only way in which she was “attacked” was by suggesting that she was a hypocrite who didn’t really believe what she was saying about a fetus, which was the point of Swiftee’s satire.
IF Robin really believed her rhetoric about it being “just a mass of cells” then Swiftee’s satire would have been laughed off as irrelevant since it formed no more a part of Robin than if she’d had worms.
That she, and flash, have gone so ballistic on this show their actual beliefs and their professed beliefs aren’t exactly in sync.
“if you disagree with someone attack their person and their family, all rules of basic decency are suspended.”
True, at least that’s the way it works over at centricity. Fact. Thanks for the warning, flush.
I wonder if you’re right, nerd. Because if you are, it means that the pro-infanticide crowd is willfully advocating what they absolutely know to be a heinous, awful act upon the most helpless of beings.
Man, that takes them to a whole lower level.
For my part, I’ve read and heard enough babble from lefty pinheads to be able to confidently write it off to sheer, willful stupidity.
This time, it seriously IS the Republican’t fault. They should have learned from The One.
You beat this problem by having foreigners purchase pre-paid credit cards, then hiring people in the Middle East to make on-line contributions of less than the reportable amount, using fake names. You disable the computerized verification system and tell everyone that your crack team of campaign workers will verify these thousands of contributions by hand, returning any that are illegal, if we find anybody to return them to (hard to do when the contribution comes from Mr. Hbkjb, jkbkj of Jkbjnj, so I guess we just keep the money, oh well).
As a bonus, you can claim that your campaign is supported by thousands and thousands of contributors, not just a few fat cats.
Learn and adapt, or die.

The site was hacked, flash, hacked. You know what that means, right?
