I Didn’t Fight The Law, And The Law Won Anyway

Joe Doakes from Como Park emails:

The attack on our consulate in Benghazi was long ago.  The President tweets his concern for kidnapped girls.  These incidents are reported as separate dots. Wretchardconnects the dots.

Boko Haram swears alliegence to Al Queda.  Yes, that Al Queda, the terrorist group that President Obama supposedly obliterated when he ordered Osama Bin Laden dead.   But it’s not dead.

Al Queda attacked our Benghazi consulate and dragged our ambassador through the streets.  It arms Boko Harum with weapons stolen in Libya so Boko Harum can kidnap Christian girls to sell into sexual slavery to Muslim slave-owners, all of which they justify by the Muslim religion, which we dare not offend, so Hilary Clinton as Secretary of State and Barack Obama as President didn’t name Boko Harum a terrorist group long ago.

The Benghazi attack and the kidnapped girls are battles in the war Fundamentalist Islam is waging against us, a war we refuse to admit exists and therefore refuse to fight.

This will not end well.

As I used to tell my “pacifist” friends (and some of my “anarcho-libertarian” acquaintances today) – just because you eschew war doesn’t mean war eschews you.

  1. Focusing on the absurd Obama administration practice of posting Twitter pics with empty hashtag slogans, am I wrong to think that started with the “Occupy” movement? Therein lies a big difference between progressives and conservatives. The former group is all about looking good for the social media liberal echo chamber; the latter actually puts its principles to work by electing officials at a grass roots level, i.e. the Tea Party. Of course progressives will bitch that the evil Koch brothers did it all, but we know better.

  2. I’m coming to agree with Hillary! on this – at this point what difference does it make? The administration that less then a month earlier at the Democrat convention proclaimed “Bin Laden is dead (and therefore Al Queda due to President “Tough Call”) and GM is alive” (but for the Chevy owners with more than one key on their key ring), had to lie and set up some goof Youtube video maker.
Here were the Jihadi’s demonstrating that President “Tough Call” hadn’t eliminated Al Queda and if anything egged it on with his end zone happy dance after Bin Laden was killed. What’s worse for the poor State Department people, he couldn’t be roused from his quarters to order a rescue operation. And Hillary! spent most her time ‘resetting’ our foreign relationships and pining for the big job – she couldn’t be bothered to provide proper security for some journeyman diplomat (it’s not like it was Anna Wintour) at some Godforsaken outpost.
If anything, the incident should have communicated to ‘the masses’ that Barack and Hillary! are incompetents and that the government really doesn’t give a crap about you. Better buck up and make your own way.
Instead our Democrat Dominated Media Culture pointed out ‘ooh, shiny things!’ like the fact that 26 years olds are still children for the purpose of Obamacare and hey, how about those ‘guns’ on the First Lady, eh? #important!

  3. “hey, how about those ‘guns’ on the First Lady, eh?

Yeah she looks like the younger sibling of the Duras sisters Lursa and B’etor.

  4. I expect Trey Gowdy will ask; Why were we in Benghazi at all? A truthful answer to that question will likely be shocking.

  5. Scott: My bet is the key witnesses have been told (in clear and convincing terms) their careers and their pensions are directly linked to NOT uttering the phrase “gun running.”

  6. Big Stink: Instead “Gun Walking”?? They seem to have gotten away with that in Mexico………grrr

  7. We should trademark the moniker “Fast & Injurious,” in anticipation of what may follow.
