The Left’s War On Blacks And Women

By Mitch Berg

The Rutgers Faculty Clique has, er, blackballed Condoleeza Rice from speaking at the Rutgers commencement.

Juan Williams, at least, sees the hypocrisy:

I, too, disagreed with many of the policies Rice faithfully supported as a member of the Bush administration. But only partisan hatred can blind the faculty to her extraordinary level of accomplishment for herself and her country.

Rice is smart, disciplined, hard-working and the model of an inspiring modern American. She personifies the American Dream. She is living inspiration for a young person trying to accomplish great work no matter what the barriers. And in Rice’s generation there were some serious barriers starting with her race and gender.

And Williams – who, let us recall, is an unapologetic liberal – notes that this frothing intolerance isn’t aimed just at black, female and black female politicians:

There is an added element at play here. There is a disgraceful double standard amongst liberals, particularly those in academia, in the hatred they direct at black conservatives.

We saw this last April when the conservative neurosurgeon Dr. Ben Carson was forced to step down as a Commencement Speaker for Johns Hopkins University (where he ably served as the head of pediatric neurosurgery).

Liberals on the Hopkins campus mobilized against Carson because he criticized President Obama’s health care reform law and said that he opposed gay marriage.

Hate eventually backfires.

The media and the academic establishment are going to do what they can to forestall this, obviously – but hate does eventually consume its owner.

And when people – especially blacks, women, and black women – see that one of our parties has been trying to program them for a couple of generations now, hopefully it’ll backfire with a vengeance.

expect Ryan Winkler or DG to stop by and explain why Williams is an “Uncle Tom” and what a class enemy Rice is.

  2. bosshoss429 Says:

The three professors that led the charge on this, were interviewed and one was gutted on Hannity’s show the other night. All of them projected the “angry, old white men” image. Libturds are closet racists, the most insidious type.

  3. kel Says:

Bosshoss429, I would say its less of a closet they’re in and more like a shallow alcove.

  4. Chuck Says:

And don’t forget where Ms Rice came from. She is a native of Birmingham Alabama, and was friends with the girls who were killed in the church bombing.

And you really see who f’d up Big Education is when, in the same week they are trying to ban Rice from their campus, Rutgers is having sex week, with such events as the condomn olympics.

  5. Powhatan Mingo Says:

Cue Dog Gone to chime in and report that she called Rutgers and talked to a student at the call center who had never even heard of Condaleeza Rice, thereby proving that your post was yet another fact-deficient rethuglican lie you believed because it was broadcast on Faux News.

  6. Bill C Says:

A certain someone resembling Mitch’s fictitious Garth Mueller (or someone extremely similar to him) on FB posted about this exact issue. He said he hates her because she helped lead us into a war where hundreds of thousands of innocents were killed. Someone else left a very good comment: Garth, you hate her for what she did. The left hates her for who she is: a black woman who left the plantation.

  7. bosshoss429 Says:

    Bill C; that’s awesome!

  8. Chuck Says:

Want proof that the attacks on Ms Rice are racist? sHillary Clinton spoke very strongly in favor of the war. Everyone of the Rice critics will be voting for Hillary in November of 2016. They have no problem when a white Democrat says we should invade Iraq, but do have a huge problem when a black female Republican says the same thing. So my question to the Rice haters….”what is the difference between what Ms Rice said about Iraq, and what Hillary said”.

  9. swiftee Says:

Little bird dropped off DG’s response

“Condoleeza Rice is like Mitch’s completely false assertion that election fraud is a problem, so it’s not like I haven’t completely debunked that either. Conservatives white males are to, and I’ve called several key people to confirm that. It’s very easy and I’m often cited as a source.

For a good time call 800-435-9363 anyone who answers will be able to help. And you crazy hateful reich wingers have said, but never fact check anything like we do in the reality based community.

You’re on the wrong side of history. aAgain.”

  10. Joe Says:

You can judge a person by the enemies they make.

You can also judge a campus environment by the number of students who rise up in protest to what some perceive as unfair.

Ms. Rice remains a class act. Hillary probably quakes every time the name “Condoleeza” is uttered.

  11. Chuck Says:

So what I said earlier…..the Democrat left who wants to ban Condi Rice from the campus, and just in general spews hatred toward her, say it is due to her lying about Iraq (sic). Yet, in November of 2016, every one of these people will vote for a white lady who said the following:

“In the four years since the inspectors left, intelligence reports show
that Saddam Hussein has worked to rebuild his chemical and biological
weapons stock, his missile delivery capability, and his nuclear program.
He has also given aid, comfort, and sanctuary to terrorists, including
al Qaeda members … It is clear, however, that if left unchecked,
Saddam Hussein will continue to increase his capacity to wage biological
and chemical warfare, and will keep trying to develop nuclear weapons.”
    — Sen. Hillary Clinton (D, NY), Oct 10, 2002

They are totally messed up on that side, Chuck.
Both of Obama’s secretaries of state voted in favor of the Iraq War. Obama got the nod in 2008 in large part because he had opposed the Iraq War from the beginning — but not because he thought Saddam had no WMD’s, but because he thought it was not in America’s interests and that had been arranged for by Perle and Wolfowitz (both were Bush advisers who happened to have recognizably Jewish surnames).

What I am opposed to is the cynical attempt by Richard Perle and Paul Wolfowitz and other armchair, weekend warriors in this administration to shove their own ideological agendas down our throats, irrespective of the costs in lives lost and in hardships borne.

Jews sending gentiles off to fight their wars. Obama is a very, very bad man.
