There are indications the Dems are going to be scraping to get to sixty in the Senate.
Here’s the complete list of Senators and their staffs.
Naturally, pick the ones from your state (singular in Minnesota – perhaps good under the circumstances) and get cranking.
It’s unlikely Amy “A-Klo” Klobuchar will be one of the wobbly ones, but it wouldn’t hurt to show her how very upset people are over this legislation. Last week, House staffers reported that call were running 100-1 against the “stimulus”.

Good luck getting through. I tried last week and the phones had melted. After 3 hours of redial I gave up and went the email route.

I hate to correct you, but it’s not called “stimulus” anymore. It’s now “economic recovery”. This after the Moody’s report makes it clear that the thrust is clearly pointed at avoiding Depression: http://tinyurl.com/ctnn2b
No one is willing to risk scaring people by calling this what it is. Meanwhile, we’ve always been at war with Eastasia.

So Moody’s says “avoid depression”, and the CBO says it’s “Recession will end on its own by the end of the year”.
“Calling it what it is” depends on “what it is”.
