   Dog Gone may be on shortly to ask that you take all sixty sick days.

   Don’t mention taking sick days. I haven’t gotten a “sick day” in at least 20 years now. I’d have to go all the way back to my NASA days to find one of those. These days most tech companies don’t have sick day policies, they let you take as many as you need … as long as you finish your design tasks on time.

   So in practice I went from generous sick days in government to effectively none in private enterprise. And yet you won’t hear me complain about it.
