  24. I’m tellin’ ya… it isn’t that Mitch is playing nice-nice with Miss Pernicious. That is his standard for the level of jackassary that Peev displays.

    Obviously, if some complete oxygen bandit comes along and threatens someone or gets creepy, I suspect Mitch would ban for life and keep an eye out for any return skulldugery.

    Miss Pernicious simply hasn’t displayed that level of jackassary.

    If Mitch uses Peev as the standard for banning, then that simply might invite more trouble. As it is, Peev willingly goes to his corner and learns to play somewhat less snotty.

    I also suspect Mitch doesn’t want to permenantly displace Peev… otherwise, he’s be pissing in the Anti-Strib waters too often, and Tracy and Kermit might challenge SitD to something at Keegan’s.

    Most importantly… isn’t it wonderful online theater to watch Peev willingly slink back to SitD time after time following any number of disparaging comments or whiney screeds???

The reason he got invited to show some balls and represent was because I know of a couple of lawyers (two U of M grads, another practicing criminal defense case work) who’d like to take apart crappolla that flows from the mouths of idiots like Puss when they try to stake out what the law IS – without reservation or qualification.

    But clearly, the issue is that you neo-kooks don’t normally have the guts to show up and discuss things rationally.

    Finally, Kermit, I restrained myself for no other reason that it’s how I normally do things – five years of the kind of crap that permeates this particular stream has shown me any sense of civility, except to Terry (usually), Joel R, and Roosh (and sometimes you) – is wasted breath. I reply with what I’m given – nothing more (like the joke last week), and nothing less. On AS you made a comment about how blacks major problem is lacking work ethic, I see that as wontonly racist – if you took offense, I apologize, but I’m not sure it’s untrue.

Reagan’s Presidency will be remembered as partially great – he spoke to our hearts and made pride in country meaningful, and partially awful, he ballooned the debt, got spanked in foriegn affairs most of the time, gutted needed oversight (of say, oh, S&L’s and Banks to start with).. deflecting the conversation to Obama – is hardly a defense of getting spanked in Beruit due to the intractable ignorance of the right (going in there in the first place with blithe arrogance) – man up about his shortcomings, and I’ll give him is due as a charismatic leader.
