    Years ago, I spent weeks trying to sell a 66′ Volkswagen bug. No one was interested. So I composed the following add, “VW engine for sale, runs fine, bug attached.”

    The first call came as soon as the Pioneer Press hit the streets – at 3:00 a.m. I got so many calls I had to take the phone off the hook for 2 days. No one wanted a rusted out bug – but a venerable pancake four, everyone wanted one of those.
