Sexual Harassment

By Mitch Berg

In re the story about the six year old boy, Hunter Yelton, who was suspended from school and branded a “sexual harasser” for kissing another six year old girl:  the mother is going public saying that it was perfectly legitimate.

And I’ll allow that there are two sides to every story.

But if you bet money that the woman would have a hyphenated last name, and be a part of the educational-industrial complex, you may cash your chips.

(PS:  kids experiment with the idea of “affection” at that age.  They need to be firmly but gently set straight on what is and is not appropriate – not have their age-normal explorations branded a crime.  Some therapist is going to get rich off that poor kid when he’s gotta deal with his relationship issues someday).

Perhaps the young boy was just looking for general affection? The type usually given to kids by parents who raise them, teach them right from wrong, and actually love them in-person.

Many of the hyphenated types, busy with truly meaningful lives, assign their children the same status as pets; fed, watered, sheltered, and kenneled.

If B. F. Skinner were to market his Skinner Box today, he’d make a fortune (assuming he could have worked-out an out-of-court settlement with his daughter before the issue went public) …

Jeepers! Next thing you know they’ll want to register him as a sex offender. Surely we’ll be needing a on staff psychologist and probation officer assigned to every elementary grade school to deal with this epidemic we’re witnessing. These adult bedwetters are beyond the pale.

It was reported that the school has dropped the sexual harassment charge.

Like teachers, probation officers and prison guards are members of public employee unions this is just one union pipelineing recruits to another. Simple union economics.
And if upon further inquiry the teachers decide this young man is ADHD then its a big win for the pharmaceutical industry as well as the school administration.
