So how would you handle the Speech and Debate clause? Does the Paul amendment nullify it or do we all get to enjoy the same immunity?
Would every U.S. citizen get payed the Congressional salary?

They can speak and debate about the insurance they get all they want.
But at the end of the day, they get Obamacare, the same as all of us expendable proles.
Easy.

Democrats say Congress and all their staff ARE getting Obamacare, same as us The only difference is we don’t get a premium subsidy if we make too much, and they get it no matter how much they make. Identical, see?
We’re all equal but, of course, some are more equal than others.

In a manner of speaking, Congress is getting Obamacare in the future. The inventions that would have been made by what–about 50,000 doctors and engineers in the medical device industry–are not going to be made due to that tax.
One would hope that even Democrats could clue in to what gutting R&D can do to a society in this regard, but no such hope.
