Looks like a great line-up. I’ll try to pick it up, but it is quite difficult to get in the south metro. After dark it’s impossible. In fact one evening I was killing time in downtown St. Paul and still couldn’t get it in the car.

I’d mentioned this before, and realize that it’s probably too expensive to do whatever needs to be done to broadcast a stronger signal.

I’m particularly frustrated this time of year because the only other viable talk station, 1130AM, is simulcasting Vikings, U of M, and all the has-beens, never-were’s, and want-to-be’s who discuss these events on the radio ad nauseam for hours before and after the games. I’m obviously no sports fan, but still don’t understand why 1130AM must broadcast the same stuff that’s on their other station, KFAN FM. To me that’s even worse than the weekend arena rock music format they tried a few years ago.

Sorry. Anyway, I hope you try to press to the issue with your AM1280 contacts. At best, AM1130 isn’t great, but it’s the only other talk option (except for the occasional walk on the wild side with the FM107 women’s station). Besides, AM1130’s latest changes sound a bit like death rattles to me.

I realize that there are on-line options, but a majority of my listening is done on the move. Thanks for the chance to vent; my radio addiction is apparent.
