Good Thing He Got Out Of The Truck

By Mitch Berg

George Zimmerman – still in hiding from the mobs slavering for his head on a pike – steps out to rescue a family of four trapped in an overturned vehicle:

Zimmerman was one of two men who came to the aid of a family of four — two parents and two children — trapped inside a blue Ford Explorer SUV that had rolled over after traveling off the highway in Sanford, Fla. at approximately 5:45 p.m. Thursday, the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement.

The crash occurred at the intersection of I-4 and route Route 46, police said. The crash site is less than a mile from where Zimmerman shot Martin.

By the time police arrived, two people – including Zimmerman – had already helped the family get out of the overturned car, the sheriff’s office said. No one was reported to be injured.

Do you think Angela Corey would have risked breaking a nail to do that?

Suck it, haters.

Something tells me that this case, along with Zimmerman’s prior protest at an incident of alleged police brutality, indicates something about him. He’s willing to put his rear end on the line for people.

Too bad Angela Corey was thinking too much about the importance of the adversarial system to figure out what really motivated him, apparently.

It all balances out. So is he a racist or a hero?

Not if one of the people Zimmerman saved was Paula Deen.

    Would’ve Jesse Jackson done it?

    Would’ve Al Sharpton done it?

Would’ve anybody from the NAACP that is asking for the prosecution of Zimmerman on civil charges have done it?

Would’ve Eric Holder have done it?

The fact that he cares shows that he only wants to help people which is why he worked for the community watch. Everybody said Trayvon was a good boy. What neighborhood watch was he a member of?

George Zimmerman the first White Hispanic Super Hero!

  7. swiftee Says:

Obama could have been one of the people George rescued.

  8. Joe Doakes Says:

He not only got out of his vehicle to help the victims trapped in the overturned SUV, he brough along a fire extinguisher from his vehicle.

He’s not only a wanna-be cop, he’s a wanna-be fireman, and has a faster response time than all of them. The guy’s a menace to public employee unions everywhere. No wonder President Obama is down on him.

jpmn; keep in mind that Zimmerman is also part black. Thank God, by the way, that we don’t use the old categories for describing various mixes of black and white, and that we don’t call someone who is part black/part white “Grey”.

Although some of my friends who do happen to be part black and part white might get a kick out of it if someone tried to describe them that way. :^)

Ok bubbasan, how about Zim the multi ethnic Caped Crusader ( can I still say Crusader?).

  12. thorleywinston Says:

“G.I. Zim is the leader of America’s highly trained neighborhood watch group. His mission: to protect the lives and property of normal American citizens from PUNKS. A worthless collection of race baiters determined to loot and mooch.

He’ll never give up, he’ll stay till the job’s done. G.I. Zim will dare (to get out of his truck and off his ass to do something useful). G.I. Zim, A White Hispanic Hero! “

  13. thorleywinston Says:

Joe Doakes, I seem to recall reading somewhere that George Zimmerman may have done some volunteer teaching at some point. Triple threat to the public employee unions.

  14. bubbasan Says:

+ a billion on Joe Doakes and Thorley.

JPMN; I have no clue whether we’re allowed to say it, but I like it. Maybe “Zim the multiethnic t-shirt clad slightly overweight guy who beats the heroic EMTs at their own game” could also work.

  15. Powhatan Mingo Says:

I’m confused — how can Trayvon Martin look both like a wannabe gangster _and_ a future President of the United States?

  16. bubbasan Says:

Powhatan, you obviously haven’t been watching the Gangster Disciples tactics of our President. :^)

No insult intended to Trayvon Martin, BTW.

  17. Powhatan Mingo Says:

Considering that Trayvon Martin was killed while attempting to beat a man to death, wouldn’t you have locked your car door if you saw him walking nearby? If you were a women, wouldn’t you have clutched your purse a little tighter when he got into your elevator?

  18. bubbasan Says:

Not as much as a grab for my wallet whenever I see a picture of the President. :^)
