C’mon, Mitch. You know the first commandment: “Thou shalt have no other gods before me”.
The state gets paid first.
You think eventually enough voters might learn just giving schools an extra whatever they won’t focus on improving education of the kids. They’ll focus on another new dream position or payraise. The best way to improve the performance of education, the cities, and the others is give them less money, but greater freedom on how it’s spent.
