Happy (%#@^@*&!!) Holidays! (?)
By Johnny Roosh

Caribou and Starbucks apparently think we’ve breached the Holiday season already.
The barista behind the counter this morning offered me a sample of their holiday cookies. I inquired as to how they would be keeping them fresh until the holidays actually arrived…
…well, I thought it was funny.
He…not so much.
I haven’t been to the mall of late, but I can only assume they are stringing popcorn, blinking lights and tinsel all over their stores as well.
Querry: Is this too much too soon or more of a good thing?
Discuss.

My wife reported hearing Christmas music at Target last Sunday.

Word on the street is that you see things all the time Peevee.

And a political tie-in…..I am doing all of my Christmas shopping at Wal-Mart this year. They are proud to use the word “Christmas” in their advertising. Most other large retailers use the facist method of scrubbing the language of words that have Christian roots.

Last week they had Christmas music at Wal-mart. The clerk said to me that he didn’t like listening to the Muzak version of White Christmas. I told him that I didn’t like listening to any Christmas music this early.

It is too soon, but Peev is correct about the retailers being desperate. This is the time of year when they can get closer to full retail prices; as the merchandise sits the prices go down and their margins get hurt. They have to get people thinking about Christmas early this year for another reason: Thanksgiving is late this year and once it passes there aren’t that many days left for shopping.
If you get the Sunday paper, you’ll notice some really fat circulars this year because they have to do something, anything to get people into the stores. Hang tight — if you can wait until the last weekend to shop, you’ll save a lot of money. Next year that approach won’t work, though, because I’m guessing that the retailers will have less inventory on hand.

Swift.. (sigh), what a scumbag you are.. what’s the matter, you got tired of getting schooled by me (and others) on Centrisity, so you had to skulk over here and get people to stand up for you? What a little chickenshit you are.
Read Psalm 23 Swift – try it for once, then try to live it.

Is it really that much worse? I remember seeing Christmas stuff out in September back when I was in college 20 years back.
My biggest complaint is that it was greats like Sinatra singing real music way back then. Now it’s who knows who singing some disgusting pap with no connection to anything but buying stuff.
Sigh.

You nailed it, BB. It is one thing to hear Frank, Bing, Sammy, Dean, Nat, and the real pros actually singing something good.

Nice to see Swiftee and Peev spreading the Christmas cheer.

You’ve got your nerve, PIG—-. But then it takes one to know one.

Hmm. The guy who comments & runs, gets banned, sneaks back with aliases to comment & run again is calling someone _else_ chickenshit?
Various appendages are pointing back at you peev.

Roosh, will you be a good conservative and avoid Starbucks because they said “holiday” instead of Christmas?
Oh, and the Super America by Loring Park has Christmas cups for soda.

If I avoided every heathen establishment I’d have to stay home…and my family would go hungry!
Merry Christmas everyone!
