  1. angryclown Says:

What were you doing the first time Jackie Robinson took the field as a Dodger?

    o Booing

    o Voting for Strom Thurmond

o Lamenting the fall of the Third Reich

  2. Kermit Says:

None of the above. I was doing a post on a Rasmussen poll from last night where I pushed the button for Maverick and Normie.

  3. Terry Says:

AC was arranging for a bus to take homeless New Yorkers to PA to cast their ballot.

  4. Mr. Shirt Says:

Again, Hitler was a leftist you retarded excuse for chunk of flesh!

Socialism & fascism are two sides of the same coin. Both are Command & Control economic systems, where the state is the supreme planner & the individual is subservient to the collective society, and the society serves the State. There are only very small differences between socialism & fascism.

Free Market Conservativism (classical liberalism) is the polar opposite of all command & control economic systems. It depends on individual FREEDOM & private property rights. The government serves the people.

Nearly every social program you & your fascist prick leftist friends want to force on us, were first instituted in Nazi Germany. Universal health care, a “living wage”, anti-tobacco laws, the banning of firearms, manditory vacations from work, Government funded arts & entertainment, Government mandated employment, Environmental regulations, animal rights legislation… they were all part of life in the Third Reich.

Your public high school level of knowledge & faulty logic has failed you yet again, but no one ever accused you of being logical.

  5. Mr. Shirt Says:

…when Jackie Robinson took the field, Strom Thurmond was a Democrap.

  6. DiscordianStooj Says:

    Riding my bike.

  7. Mr. D Says:

I was teaching my religious education class – I’d rather render unto God than to our new Caesar. Although I’m sure he’s coming for my wallet anyway.

By the way, Clown — Jackie Robinson was a Republican. As they say in the baseball biz, you could look it up.

  8. Mr. Shirt Says:

    Mr. D,

Out of curiosity, when you get to the “Render unto Caesar the things which are Caesar’s, and unto God the things that are God’s” Do you point out that it is ALL God’s?

I hear so many using that quote to justify everything from taxation to oppression, but it seems to me that if God created this universe, every single particle is God’s.

  9. nerdbert Says:

So, could anyone who watched it tell the difference between the Barack infomercial and normal MSM coverage?

  10. Mr. D Says:

Out of curiosity, when you get to the “Render unto Caesar the things which are Caesar’s, and unto God the things that are God’s” Do you point out that it is ALL God’s?

I might to you, Mr. Shirt. To the 3rd graders I’m teaching at the moment, not so much. At this point we’re just trying to get them to understand why paying attention to saints is a good thing.

  11. Stullnod Says:

Missed it? It was on tonight? I guess since CBS reports on last election cycle I’d RATHER NOT watch TV for news or opinions. I hope I didn’t miss much. Any word about a free government burial to go along with the death taxes?

  12. Mr. Shirt Says:

    Mr. D

NAH, they are ready! We need to begin planting the seeds of the new enlightenment revolution early!

  13. Kermit Says:

What were you doing the first time Jackie Robinson took the field as a Dodger?
Well, not much. It was 11 years before I was born. But I’m sure I was rootin’ for those white folks to hold him back from my pre-historical vantage point in Heaven. Jesus ‘n me was riding dinosaurs. Or something like that. Yippee Kay yay!

  14. David Poe Says:

Pushing Daises. Seriously, it’s a fantastic show and one of the few things worth watching on TV anyway.

  15. angryclown Says:

Mr. D said: “By the way, Clown — Jackie Robinson was a Republican. As they say in the baseball biz, you could look it up.”

True enough, Mr. D. And the southern racists were Democrats. The year after Jackie’s first season, President Truman ordered the integration of the armed forces, Minneapolis mayor Hubert Humphrey spoke against racism at the Democratic convention causing southern Democrats to walk out and nominate Thurmond on the Dixiecrat line. It was the start of a process in which the solid Democratic South turned Republican. Back then southern Democrats were on the wrong side of history. In 2008, it’s you guys.

  16. Mr. Shirt Says:

AC, you are just a bloated sack of crap!

Jackie Robinson was Rookie of the Year in 1947. Strom Thurmond was a democrat until 1964… 17 years after Robinson’s rooky year, oh, and 8 years after Robinson retired from base ball.

    Angry Idiot!

  17. Mr. Shirt Says:

Never mind that the CURRENT longest serving & highly respected, Democrat in the senate is Robert Byrd, who, as a Grand Dragon of the KKK,has most likely lynched or caused the lynching of citizens of his state.

Don’t think any MODERN Republican can have that said about them.

  18. Mr. Shirt Says:

“Minneapolis mayor Hubert Humphrey spoke against racism at the Democratic convention causing southern Democrats to walk out and nominate Thurmond on the Dixiecrat line.”

And this is just WRONG! It was the Democrats going to a fascist inspired interventionist posture, started by FDR, that began the Dixiecrat purge.

How can you possibly know who’s on the right side of history, when you do not know any history?

  19. Bike Bubba Says:

Actually, I think Senator Byrd was a Kleagle, or Klan recruiter, not a Grand Dragon. David Duke was the lizard, if I remember correctly. And Barack Obama is the guy who toasted Rashid Khalidi, former PR man for Yasser Arafat and the PLO, and let him babysit his kids. No kidding.

I don’t think I have waders tall enough to watch a Barack Obama informercial, and certainly my neighbors down the hill wouldn’t appreciate it, either.

  20. angryclown Says:

Mr. Shi(r)t, you’re clearly reading some wacky right-wing revisionist bullshit. (Hitler was a leftist, FDR’s “fascist-inspired” war against fascism.)

The Dixiecrats bolted cause they thought the liberals in the party were pushing too hard on civil rights. American post-war interventionism under Truman – if that’s what you want to call it – consisted primarily of opposition to Stalin. Supplying West Berlin, keeping Greece from turning communist, backing anti-Communists in Italy and France, sponsoring the Marshall Plan to shore up Western Europe, rolling back communist North Korean aggression.

You are clearly reading (or smoking) some crazy-ass shit. That’s why I don’t take you seriously.

  21. Mr. D Says:

Back then southern Democrats were on the wrong side of history. In 2008, it’s you guys.

Thanks for assuming that “us guys” are all racists. I thought you were against reductionist thinking, AC.

  22. angryclown Says:

I’m against stupid thinking, Mr. D. I’m not saying that all you guys are racist. Just that most of the racists are in your party. And that doesn’t seem to trouble you much.

  23. Mr. D Says:

Just that most of the racists are in your party.

You clearly haven’t spent much time hanging around a union hall in Chicago. And if most of the racists are in my party, what the heck was John Murtha babbling about the other day?

And that doesn’t seem to trouble you much.

You don’t know what troubles me, AC.

  24. Troy Says:

    angryclown said:

    “I’m against stupid thinking”

Considering some of the things you have said, angryclown, that is simply untrue.

  25. swiftee Says:

While AC was digging through his nose for a light snack last night, Barry Nobama was re-defining his definition of “rich”.

A week ago, it took $250k to earn Democrat hatred, as of last night $200k will get you there.

Before he’s through, we’ll be hiding our kids piggy banks from the IRS.

  26. Bike Bubba Says:

You’re against stupid thinking, AC? One wouldn’t know it reading your comments. Swell and bleed yet?

And most of the racists are in my party? Say what you like, but reality is that it’s the Democrats that are telling the nation that minorities can’t make it without government help, not the GOP. I’d call that rank bigotry.

Never mind that, as last I checked, known bigots like Louis Farrakhan, Jeremiah Wright, Michael Pfleger, Al Sharpton, and Jesse Jackson had a nice home in the Democratic Party.

  27. Mr. Shirt Says:

    OH MY GOD!

A complete total moronic useful idiot for the fascist left doesn’t take me seriously! That’s probably the best news I’ve heard today! Let’s see, in this post alone, you have totally misstated history, denied reality, & made a compete fool of yourself… yeah, I’m feeling pretty good about your complement!

You are a lamb being lead to the slaughter, & you are too stupid to see it coming.

  28. Mitch Berg Says:

Oh, goody – the Nazi/Racist discussion. Again.

OK, I’ll tell my story again.

In twenty-three years in a thoroughly Democrat-controlled metro, the three most casually, self-confidently racist people I’ve ever met have all been Democrats; two of them east-side Saint Paul union guys, and one of them a, uh, man of the cloth, if you will.

Since I’ve observed it, it must be dispositive.

  29. Mr. Shirt Says:

And which party was it that fought against the Civil Rights Act of 1964? 16 years after the Dixiecrat migration started?

Your (il)logic just doesn’t hold up

  30. angryclown Says:

The black helicopters izzit Mr. Shi(r)t? Or the fluoride in the water maybe?

You have grown tiresome. Angryclown will ignore you from now on. You may appeal Angryclown’s shunning after a waiting period of three months. To be successful, you will have to prove you have educated yourself and can produce comments that are at least 50 percent more intelligent than the above (spelling counts, Mr. Shi(r)t – “led,” “compliment.”)

Get working, Mr. Shi(r)t! Three months isn’t a long time and I have a hunch you’re a very slow learner.

  31. Mr. Shirt Says:

Universal health care, a “living wage”, anti-tobacco laws, the banning of firearms, manditory vacations from work, Government funded arts & entertainment, Government mandated employment, Environmental regulations, animal rights legislation…

AC, you would have voted for these guys in a heart beat… Conservatives would not.

  32. Mr. Shirt Says:

    OH KEEP IT COMING!

    I LOVE LAVISH PRAISE!!!!

  33. Angie Smith Says:

The very programs that Obama and his leftist, illuminati socialists are the same programs that Hitler tried to implement, i.e. universal health care, a living wage for everyone, etc. Is this what we want for this country? It’s what you’ll get if you elect Obama and keep Pelosi and Reid in office.
