Another looney, left-wing illuminati liberal not only taking from adults, but now children! I’d carve their heart out if they had one! Have they no shame?!

There also is a diversity issue here. At least one of the trick-or-treaters needs to be a member of the gay-lesbian-transexual-polygamist-angryclown community.

Hey, can one of you wingnuts explain what “illuminati” means in your weird little subculture? It appears to be another one of those words (“socialist,” “terrorist,” “elitist”) that you kooks parrot for awhile until the orders come down to switch. Just wondering what dark associations you’re trying to suggest with “illuminati.”

This one went around at work…it’s perfect!

AC,
For crying out loud, you are on the net, GOOGLE IT!
Websters online-
Illuminati:
1 any of various groups claiming special religious enlightenment
2: persons who are or who claim to be unusually enlightened
3: elite 1d
Elitist:
1: leadership or rule by an elite
2: the selectivity of the elite ; especially : snobbery
3: consciousness of being or belonging to an elite
Elite:
a group of persons who by virtue of position or education exercise much power or influence
e: a member of such an elite —usually used in plural
OR in other words, a group of snobby, pinheaded, self-important, psudo-intellectuals who think they know what’s best for society, even better than the people of that society.
It’s english, just because you don’t understand it doesn’t mean it’s a foreign language.

Here’s some more light reading from the Concise Encyclopedia of Economics:

Careful, you might learn something.

Oh thanks, dumbass. Angryclown understands the standard English definitions of these words. He’s asking about the word “illuminati” as used by speakers of Rabid Wingnut.
Responses are invited from those more intelligent than Mr. Shi(r)t.

Who’s asking the stupid questions?
October 31st, 2008 at 11:04 am
And why are you speaking of yourself in the third person?
“He’s asking about the word “illuminati” as used by speakers of Rabid Wingnut.”
October 31st, 2008 at 11:06 am
Perhaps the phrase “Rabid Wingnut” is more projecting? Does that Kool-aid you’ve been drinking cause a bit of frothing?

For purposes of clarifying his question to other SITD commenters, Angryclown temporarily lifted his shunning of you, Mr. Shi(r)t. As you know, you are not permitted to interact with Angryclown for at least three months. And only then if you are able to satisfy certain tests of coherence and intelligence that, frankly, seem far beyond your reach. The shunning is reinstated.

And I gave you the answer you were looking for:
“in other words, a group of snobby, pinheaded, self-important, psudo-intellectuals who think they know what’s best for society, even better than the people of that society.”

Again, when a mentally deranged imbecile says I’m the one off kilter… it’s a sign that I’m doing just fine!

Personally, I don’t use “illuminati.” Too redolent of black helicopters. The better term is bien pensant. Your mileage may vary.

But ‘Illuminati’ is perfect for Halloween, in an H.P. Lovecraft sort of way. And if it annoys angryclown, all the better. 🙂

I don’t use it either… in fact, I think Angie is the only one who does. It’s appropriate, but it confuses the easily confusable.

Mr. Shirt-
Don’t fret about being ‘shunned’ by Zippy. He’s just feeling grumpy and out-of-sorts because his offer to blow Obama was turned down. Again.
