“It’s going to be a long night at MSNBC if I pull this off”

“I can’t wish my opponent luck; but I do wish him well.”

John McCain is funnier than you might imagine, and also a class act.

You’ve got two Miss Congenialities on the ticket, eh? Both runners-up too.

    Did I miss an election?

AC is a racist! You can tell because he used the word “Congenialities”. Everyone knows that’s a code word for a nasty racial slur. And he’s not a licensed clown, therefore his opinions mean nothing.

  4. Yossarian Says:

AC has proven time and time again to be a prejudiced and bigoted douchenozzle. It’s hardly a recent phenomenon.

Great jab at Olberman, a good one at Bill and Hill, and a couple at the “messiah”.

Caught the McCain speech via the Rachel Madnow Show on DNCBC last night. Even Mad Rachel said that McCain was funnier than The One. (She felt compelled to warn the humorless lefties that watch her that McCain was about to come on for fear they would go all WGN on her and get DNCBC’s license pulled for showing a Republican, sorry, Rethuglican in a good light.) She did get a little thin skinned about a funny McCain line about MSNBC and Herr Olberdouche. When I flipped over to Fox (or Faux to some of the far too frequent commenters here at SITD), they were replaying The One’s performance. A few good lines, (my middle name is actually Steve) but a leaden delivery and poor timing hurt some of the better jokes. Maybe The One could use a clown other than Joe “Three Letter Word – JOBS” Biden on the staff.

I told you Mavrick was no Giuliani.

Rudy doesn’t wish guys who pal around with terrorists well. RUDY SMASH!

If Maverick’s not up to the job, maybe his friend G. Gordon Liddy will show him how it’s done.

Obama had a strange-funny look on his face as he was laughing, apparently not very comfortably, at his own jokes. I think he was trying too hard not to look worried.

McCain, other than a couple of bobbles, was terrific, and avoided the cheap shots, even when he was sticking the knife in, just a little. (And it was just a little; he avoided any 57 states jokes, for example; I don’t think many others could have resisted the temptation — he was, if anything, too easy on Obama. And his only shots at the Obamamedia were the very tame one at Chris’s tingling leg, Olby’s butt, and the very long night at MSNBC.)

    McCain’s a class act.
