Simply Fierce

Suffice to say that if this is true…:

…the fashion world has remained particularly quiet on the Ann Romney fashion front, with many questioning whether or not outspoken Obama supporter Anna Wintour is keeping stylists and designers away, silently threatening their standing should they endeavor to promote their outfitting of the wife of a Republican presidential hopeful.

…then I will be boycotting Anna Wintour and all of her endeavors.

Over the past year, the Vogue matriarch [Oh, snap – Ed.] – who many say has enough power to make or break fashion careers – has become one of President Obama’s leading financiers. Wintour has raised over half a million dollars for the incumbent, hosted numerous lavish dinners in his name and even enlisted designer pals like Marc Jacobs and Thakoon Panichgul to design pro-Obama products.

Whatever will Republicans do?

  1. I thought most Lefty’s prefer to dress like a modern-day Tom Joad as portrayed by Henry Fonda in “The Grapes of Wrath”. Designer duds? Not hardly.
Of course most filthy rich wastrels in this country are tax-free trust fund Democrat’s so I can see where a designer of $5,000 tee shirts wouldn’t want to associate with “the other”.

PS: Wonder if Mitch will give me Springsteen tag for referencing Tom Joad?

  2. It is generally known that designers in the rag trade, manufacture their garments in third world countries paying the workers, many as young as 12, slave wages, yet they are huge libturds. But, since they are supporting the right political party, the rest of the libtruds hypocritically look the other way. I guess they haven’t calculated how much their dear leader’s reckless financial policies are going to cost them.

  3. Boss, when you use 12 year olds and pay them slave wages, the profit margins are such that you don’t care how much dear leader’s reckless financial policies are going to cost you. Anyway, it’s all about the moral and intellectual superiority, doncha know?
