At the Dem convention, John Kerry (did you know he served in Vietnam?) gave tribute to US veterans – in front of a photo of a flotilla of Soviet-era Russian ships.
As the Daily Caller notes, the airplanes the Dems used in their tribute to American vets? Turkish F-5s flown by Turkey’s equivalent of the Thunderbirds.
But this blog has learned that it could have been much worse. Below the fold.
For some reason, their tribute to American ground troops got edited in the nick of time:
And it’s a very good thing they double-checked before running the scheduled tribute to American submariners:
The convention producers very nearly ran this photo behind remarks by RT Rybak about the Minnesota Vikings:
At one point, this photo was slated to have run over an Elizabeth Warren tribute to the Boston Red Sox:
And when she was talking about her native American heritage?
That could have been embarrassing.
Well the Dims had Bill Clinton there in person so they didn’t have to scramble to find a picture for the backdrop of the 1st black president.
If Barak Obama was all about flashy imagery with no depth or substance, this would make perfect sense because, obviously, Commies take better military footage than we do so use what looks best on screen.
Of course, we know that’s not true. We know that, don’t we? Don’t we?

Or he coulda been caught on video talking trash about half the country to a bunch of wealthy donors. But yeah, definitely go with the Turkish airplane thing.
