Re: Budget Talk
Dear Governor Romney,
The next time the media asks you “what’s the difference between your budget and the Ryan budget”, you need to response “unlike the Obama budget, it exists”.
That is all.

I’ve heard that, OTR, people close to Obama have said that the deficits terrify him. He simply does not have the skill set to make hard budget decisions.
It’s totally word of mouth, hearsay, and all that, but it would explain why Obama believes that raising taxes by 70 billion/yr will fix annual trillion dollar deficits. It would also explain why he has not pushed Reid & the senate harder to produce a budget. He does not want to have an actual legal document he will be forced to explain and defend.
apparently there is a Obama budget item for dealing with some portion of the Medicare issue:

Terry: Why would he want (or need) a legal document? He can create law by fiat, as he did today in waiving the legal protocol for illegal aliens. There is no precedent for his actions. In prior administrations the press would refer to his actions as “tyrannic.” Today, they applaud him as “visionary.”
I’m not sure Ryan would stick by his budget.
This was an interesting piece. He admits he voted against the stimulus bill, but then requested and took stimulus money to simulate business in his district.
