Fearless Predictions
By Mitch Berg
I have a few for today.
It’s virtually inevitable that some lefty commentator – probably a leftyblogger, but very possibly a media commentator – will blame yesterday’s shooting in Grand Marais on Minnesota’s concealed carry law.
It’s also pretty much a lock that the Strib and MInnPost’s columnist stables will paint the departure of Amy Koch as Senate Majority Leader as “proof that conservatives are becoming too unruly and powerful”, notwithstanding the fact that Koch is a conservative.
Just saying.

You have most likely hit the nail right on the head, Mitch.
Of course, far be it from a lefty to even mention the fact that this mental midget degenerate had just been convicted of sexual conduct with a girl under the age of 16 or that he exited the court house and returned with the gun, as in, it was most likely in his car.

Did the shooter in Grand Marais have a carry permit? If not, then there is no connection to the two (for point 1).
Of course, agenda trumps all logic and reasoning so yeah, I spose it’s inevitable. And if they managed to find someone with an ounce of integrity who would say “yeah, guns are bad but this guy didn’t have a permit (if he didn’t), so that has no bearing on the problem”, it wouldn’t get out of the “reporters” “notebook” that such words were ever uttered.

On point 2, our favorite libturd propaganda spewer at WDFL, Pat Kessler, has reported that the always ambiguous “sources” in the GOP are claiming that Amy Koch resigned because of allegations of an inappropriate relationship with a staffer.
