Apropos not much, there’s been so much violence lately at “Occupy” protests – rapes, assaults, serious stuff – that I’ve stopped adding it to the “Occupy” chapter of my “Climate of Hate” page. That’s a page I started back during the Tea Party, when the left was finding “Tea Party Violence” under every rock (but not, we note, at actual rallies). There’s just too much of it.
Anyway – you might look at the beginning of this story….
Taylor Garrett, a Republican consultant in Texas who stars in the reality series on the channel LOGO TV, said in an interview that he was attacked outside a birthday party in Dallas…
…might be just a red-state gay-bashing, or maybe someone who just doesn’t like “reality” TV much.
Not so:
…after finding a vandal scratching “F–k Coulter” on the side of his car.
Ooh. Wonder if there’ll be brow-furrowed editorials about the tone of politics?
(And yes, that’s presuming it doesn’t turn out to be a hoax I expect hoaxes from Democrats. I’ll be disappointed if one of the good guys does it).
Good news from the Big Apple. Apparently Mayor Bloomberg’s testicle transplant was a success and overnight the NYPD and Sanitation workers cleaned out the festering rat’s nest formerly known as Zuccotti Park and returned it to the people of Neew York.
doc, I believe that the miscreants obtained a court order allowing them back in the park, no doubt courtesy of the Keystone Kops over at the ACLU.
Each time the dominant media culture ignores these acts of violence likely perpetrated by ‘progressive’ types they poke yet another hole below the water line in their rowboat of credibility. When you report (falsely) that TEA Partays are violent and weapon filled then ignore actual violence and weapons (homemade hand grenades for Chrissakes!) at Occupy ‘gatherings’, you are no longer a ‘reporter’ or ‘journalist’, you are an ‘advocate’. There is nothing wrong with that, but don’t expect people who consume your reporting to believe that you are anything but a shill for a particular point of view.
Update on OWS. Yes, the kidz woke up former ACLU attorney Lucy Billings to issue an injunction, but word now is that she will not be hearing the case. I’m including a link to the bio she posted before running for election. WARNING: don’t read it on a full stomach.

Speaking of eating–er, I mean, taxing the rich, here’s a link to a study by the NJ tax department on the revenue lost after the state instituted increases in rates on the wealthiest earners. Something you won’t see reported on CBS/NBC/CNN/ABC or jabbered about on the left blogs like Puffington Host.
