It would appear I have the honor of being the first member of the Jury. May I first say that all of the entries were splendid examples of satire. They were just as fun on the second reading. Learned Foot’s contribution, however, IMO was a little thin. But then sometimes less is more, nes, pas?
So now my vote for #1 entry:
Dan S. “Conservative’s Slinky Hatred”
The metaphor was excellent.
My #2:
Swiftee “The Dove of My Heart…”
The absolute, pathological need to insert a Wellstone! reference was well played.
Yossarian gets at least two honorable mentions, if only for volume. And Fellatio references.

Actually, today’s post is for review only.
There’ll be an online poll in this space tomorrow.
(What? Me, tabulate?)

I was sure I saw “vote early, vote often”. Appologies. I can never be accused of a lack of enthusiasm.

The Titles alone are worthy of the National Endowment for the Arts. Nice job Mitch
