Feeling All of Forty-Five Going On Fifteen
By Mitch Berg
Today on the Northern Alliance Radio Network:
- Volume I “The First Team” – Chad, John and Brian will do their thing from 11-1. They’ll be interviewing Peter Schweitzer, author of Makers and Takers, talking about all the myriad, empirically-measured ways that conservatives are better, nicer, more generous people than liberals. No, it’s in a book, it’s for real.
- Volume II “The Headliner” – Ed and I will be on from 1-3. I’ll be interviewing Doug Hester of Northern Muckraker about Ramco Sheriff Bob Fletcher’s curious pattern of non-renewals for legal carry permits.
- Volume III, “The Final Word” – King joins Michael from 3-5. We’ll see if Michael’s been able to escape the DFL convention yet.
So tune in to all six hours of the Northern Alliance Radio Network, the Twin Cities’ media’s sole guardians of sanity. On the air at AM1280 in the Metro, or streaming at AM1280’s Website, or via podcast at Townhall.
And don’t forget the David Strom Show, with David Strom and Margaret Martin, from 9-11!

Sure wouldn’t want to talk about:
A .5% leap in unemployement or
Finding by Senate Intelligence that corroberates Scott Mclellan (and a host of others -that Bush misled the country)
$139/bbl oil – and the ‘stimulate debt’ checks or as they should be called – ‘direct subsidy’ checks.
Nosireeebob – as everyone knows – non-issueance of carry permits is the most pressing matter of the day.

I notice you’ve never once condemned the Iranians’ lynching of gays and adulterers. Obviously you’re covering something up as part of the neocommie agenda.
Good Lord, Peev – I’m drawing attention to A GUEST on the show. That’s pretty common.
I don’t know exactly what we’ll be going on about, because we rarely plan the show more than half an hour in advance, but all of the above – and debunking the leftymedia’s simplistic talking points, which are pretty mu8ch all you have – is always fodder for the show.

You could certainly call the show, Peev, and broach any subject you like. In fact, Mitch and Ed give priority to dissenting callers. Just a fair warning: you won’t get three hours to re-state your flawed thesis like you do when you write.

Oh, I HOPE Mitch will talk about $139/bbl oil, especially in the context of Democratics policy of putting off limits proven reserves greater than the known reserves of Iraq, Iran, or Kuwait. Or, peeve, do you not support the ‘rats policy of reducing supply to drive up the price of oil? And then trying to drive it up further with a cap and trade system on carbon? Especially when you find that NASA’s been fudging the thermometer on global warming in a rather heavy handed way.

And what about Iraq? Has Doug Hester “muckraked” Bushco’s lying us into war and Haliburton’s no-bid contracts? Why doesn’t he expose the CIA using their Mind Beam to put a tumor in Senator Kennedy’s head? When will we finally get the truth about Area 51? What evil conspiracy forced Marisa Tomei into that sex scene with the chubby Phillip Seymour Hoffman in Before the Devil Knows Your Dead? Hmmm?
All you care about is guns, Mitch. Go ahead and fiddle while Rome burns.

Hey peevish! Those topics look like they could be subjects of posts on a blog. *hint* *hint*

Yeah, Peev – call on in. 651 289 4488. Our producers have standing orders to let liberals on first. Go for it.

What does peev\leftover\penema\whatever he’s calling himself today call himself when he phones in his asshat dance to the radio?
June 7th, 2008 at 11:47 am
Curious…
Will peev\leftover\penema\whatever he’s calling himself today speak of his alter egos in the third person, or will his alter egos phone in seperately to plug his bleg?
Rediculous!
Visit his bleg.

Are you people kidding? Peev just last week figured out how to start a blog of Blogger, of all things. What makes you think he has the technical savvy to use a telegraph to Morse into a phonograph talkie?

‘Direct subsidy’ checks…I don’t know…I look at it as getting just some of the taxes we have paid out back in our pocket. We, unlike some people in this country, actually work and pay taxes. We don’t get “subsidized” for sitting on our fat butts and cranking out kids right and left….and then expecting the taxpayer or the food shelf to feed them.
Nerdbert slapped peev down on the oil bit-nicely. I’m sure peev won’t pay it a lick of attention tho.
As for the ‘leap’ in unemployment, nary a word was breathed by peev and his fellow leftists when unemployment was at historic lows for lo, these many months and years. Suddenly it’s a subject for dicussion.

Peev,
I’ve had enough of the thread-jacking. I’ve long reserved the right to delete blatant hijackings of my posts; since the purpose of this post was to promote my show, I really see no need to deed it over to you a platform for your off-topic and (as usual) ad-hominem ranting.
June 8th, 2008 at 11:05 am
Oh, and Peev?
You never responded to my question – purely an oversight, I’m sure…
…but why DID you use an anonymous, sock-puppet identity to write about another of your anonymous, sock-puppet identities in the third person, as if you were writing about a different person?
That’s really a no-no.
