Showing His Cards

An “Occupy LA” speaker exposes the id of the “Occupy…” movement and the radical left:

Occupy L.A. Speaker: “One of the speakers said the solution is nonviolent movement. No, my friend. I’ll give you two examples: French Revolution, and Indian so-called Revolution.

Gandhi, Gandhi today is, with respect to all of you, Gandhi today is a tumor that the ruling class is using constantly to mislead us. French Revolution made fundamental transformation. But it was bloody.

India, the result of Gandhi, is 600 million people living in maximum poverty.

So, ultimately, the bourgeoisie won’t go without violent means. Revolution! Yes, revolution that is led by the working class.

Long live revolution! Long live socialism!”

The posturing of a spoiled post-adolescent?

Sure.  So were the worst atrocities of the Cultural Revolution.

I’m almost getting tired of asking “can you imagine if a Tea Partier had said this?  Any Tea Partier?  Ever”?

Well, imagining is all you have, because it never happened – but it didn’t take that much for the media to find things to condemn the Tea Party over, either.

  1. You must link to the Atlanta event where they are trying to decide if they should allow John Lewis to speak or not.

  2. I read that Mayor Bloomberg wants the OWS people to vacate the park so the grownups will be able to clean it. From the NY Post:

“The owner of Zuccotti, Brookfield Properties said “the cleaning will be done in stages and the protesters will be able to return to the areas that have been cleaned, provided they abide by the rules.”
A letter from Brookfield CEO Richard Clark to NYPD Commissioner Ray Kelly, a copy of which was obtained by The Post, asks for police to “help clear the park.”
It wasn’t immediately clear if all the protesters would be forced out before the cleaning begins or how long the process would take.
The letter describes the squalor that has accumulated after the anti-greed demonstrators set up camp last month, saying rodents have descended onto the once-clean park.”

The most telling sentence is the reference to rodents. I don’t mean just the four legged kind.

HIPPIES SMELL (and they’re filthy as well)!!!!

  4. I find myself thinking a lot lately about Gironella’s novel of Spain on the eve of the Civil War, “The Cypresses Believe in God.” The Socialists were the well-meaning elite in league with the Communists and Anarchists to form the Popular Front. All very passionate and high-minded, of course, until the Communist and Anarchists started shooting priests and jailing the Socialists, of course.
