Bison 37 GoGos 24.
Fun weekend.
Well, if you’re going to go for schadenfreude, you might as well bring a lot of it.
Go Badgers.
It’s not like there’s anything else to do up there on the frozen tundra. Finished throwing hay bales? Go to football practice.
The Gophs are on their new three year cycle. First year get new coach, promote the heck out of him. Second year, rave about the new recruiting class. Third year, call foe the coach’s head.
How’d the Bears do?
Lileks & his dad were at the game: http://lileks.com/bleat/?p=10055
Did you see anyone wearing a boater and a raccoon coat hitting a silver hip flask?
I remember way back when, my MSU Bobcats met the NDSU Bison in the playoffs on the way to the national championship. Not a team to take lightly. They have a good history.
Still looking for that Packers-Bears score…
How’d the Bears do?
A team generally considered to be “rebuilding”, with a quarterback that is, to say the least, a spotty performer, came up ten points shy against a team that played like the reigning Super Bowl champs they are, led by the best QB currently in the game – and were robbed of a three-point finish by a criminally-bogus bit of officiating on that last Knox runback.
A moral victory.
Still looking for that Packers-Bears score…
When you pay me to be on call, I’ll be on call.
Packers win, Brewers win, Twins win, Vikings lose, NDSU wins. Kind of a good weekend for sports fans in the upper midwest.
Oh, and that chick basketball team won too, if you are into that sort of thing.
“A team generally considered to be “rebuilding””
Who went to the NFC championship game last year, and has everybody back. This is Chad the Elder-level sports opinion.
