Coming Soon To Saint Paul
By Mitch Berg
One of the things we’ve been told to look out for during the Republican National Convention is for the anarkids and the Code Pink harpies to try to blockade or vandalize military recruiting stations and other military-associated landmarks; monuments, armories, and so on.
While the NYPD isn’t saying much about this morning’s bombing at the Times Square recruiting station in New York, John Hinderaker speculates:
The Times Square recruiting station “has been the site of regular antiwar protests since the start of the Iraq war.” Given the increasing virulence of attacks on the military and on military recruiting facilities by antiwar groups like Code Pink, most notably the repeated confrontations in Berkeley, one could speculate that a liberal group is the most likely culprit. So far, however, there are no suspects.
We’ll see, of course; one suspects that the NYPD (and the alphabet soup of federal agencies) will take this pretty seriously.

And I hear both Mpls and St Paul city councils have declared their respective area to be sanctuary cities for the bombers.

And they should take it seriously. Not like it was an expendable Jew, or something.

The cops here are saying it might be related to a bomb somebody threw at the Mexican consulate in October. Sounds like a wingnut.
March 6th, 2008 at 12:56 pm
Right. Because “wingnut” conservatives are renowned for hating the military.
March 6th, 2008 at 1:07 pm
You love the military, hate the Mexicans.
March 6th, 2008 at 1:09 pm
Hey, Clown – you have a link to the cops’ statement on the possible relationship between the Times Square bomb and the Mex Consulate bomb? I can’t find one.
I see where they think they’re investigating a link between the Mex and the UK consulate bombs; I read where the FBI profiler is saying “look for a white, male, out-of-work circus performer”, but that’s all I got.
March 6th, 2008 at 1:10 pm
I support the Mexicans, but I oppose mariachi radio.
March 6th, 2008 at 1:10 pm
“love the military” = bomb a recruiting station?
You must be an Obama supporter.
March 6th, 2008 at 1:16 pm
Just speculation on the radio. Very preliminary. Though they’re saying it’s definitely not clown-related.
March 6th, 2008 at 1:19 pm
Mitch charged: “You must be an Obama supporter.”
Bet McCain wears a supporter to keep his old-man Balzac from dangling around his socks.

Because we all know lefties never engage in violence. Except for the SLA, the weather underground, animal rights activists, earth-firsters, etc.
March 6th, 2008 at 1:34 pm
Recall that the lefties attacked and vandalized an armed forces recruiting facility in Milwaukee last year. I went to the local indymedia site to see what they had to say….they were quite proud of what they did.
Although my comments kept getting deleted by the moderator. Including the one where I asked them what they thought about Israel. It’s almost as though they have something to hide.

Now AC is prejudiced against the aged. So far, he’s come out as unabashedly prejudiced against “rednecks,” people of faith, and pretty much everyone who lives outside of New York City. Such a hateful, angry little guy. He must vote Democrat.
March 6th, 2008 at 3:09 pm
Since the Clown is link challenged, here’s the speculation to which he’s referred: http://www.breitbart.com/article.php?id=D8V84BRG0&show_article=1. They also propose a link to a British consulate attack.
Strange. The culture of love and tolerance loves and tolerates everyone except those who defend this culture.

Mitch rides a bicycle…

AC: “…definitely not clown-related.”
The lady (with stage 3 syph) doth protest too much.

Sure am glad there have been no terrorist attacks on US soil since 9/11.
Sure am glad that those who love the military would never engage in such activites.
Sincerely,
Alfred P. Murrah.

Peev, this isn’t Isalmic terrorism. If it was, instead of a seeing a video of a small bomb lobbed at the building, we would be counting bodies in makeshift morgues.

Who let mangy clown out of Bellevue?
March 7th, 2008 at 10:06 pm
Actually, I thought that AC was banned by Ralph Remington and the rest of the Minneapolis City Council. Apparently there was some sort of loophole.
