Oh, Yeah

Remember last spring, when the Dems lept up and down like organ-grinder monkeys on espresso, claiming that Supreme Court of Wisconsin (SCOW) Justice David Prosser had “choked” fellow SCOW justice Ann Walsh Bradley?

Leftybloggers will no doubt hope you don’t.  I’ll refresh everyone’s memory here and here.

Was it 1000% bullcrap?  Hey, it was a liberal meme; I’d only be amazed if it wasn’t.

Because it was.

Neither Supreme Court Justice David Prosser nor fellow Justice Ann Walsh Bradley will face criminal charges for a June altercation that broke out as the judges were considering Gov. Scott Walker’s union bargaining law, a special prosecutor has determined.

In an interview, Sauk County District Attorney Patricia Barrett steered resolutely clear of specifics about the reasons for her decision.

“The totality of the facts and the circumstances and all of the evidence that I reviewed did not support my filing criminal charges,” Barrett said Thursday.

Which is, I suspect, lawyer-talk for “there was no there, there, but I’ll be damned if I”m going to piss off a SCOW justice”.

So there you go, lefties.  On to your next facile group slander!

  1. The totality of the facts and the circumstances and all of the evidence generally prove liberal Democrats are full of manure. But we all knew that.

  2. We all know that Not Guilty is not the same as Didn’t Do It. That’s why OJ didn’t go to jail but still had to pay Nicole’s parents.

Fine, Prosser is Not Guilty. But did he Do It? Because if he did, he’s unfit to sit on the Supreme Court and should be tossed out on his ear.

Contrawise, if he Didn’t Do It, his accuser is a lying sack and SHE ought to be tossed out on HER ear.

This is not a playground where Teacher can’t tell who’s lying about who started it so we just forget the whole thing and move on. These are people entrusted with making policy decisions about what the law Should Mean (not what it says, anybody can read that, but what does it Mean?). Somebody here is a bald-faced liar and needs to be held to account for it so the rot doesn’t take hold and spread.

Using Berg’s Seventh Law of Liberal Projection, I know what I believe the truth to be. Now I’d like the Wisconsin agency responsible for judge behavior to confirm the Truth and take appropriate action.

Otherwise the liars will have won.

  3. You are correct, nate! There were other SCJs in the room that stated what really happened, so that, in itself, should have been enough to toss the witch out. Of course, being true to the legal profession, I’m sure that Bennett classified it as “hearsay” evidence! Pathetic!

  4. nate, even Bradley in her official statement on the matter admitted there was no chokehold and that she charged Prosser and that as he raised his hands in self defense, there was contact between her neck and his hands but no pressure on her neck.

If you read the reports every participant says that Bradley charged Prosser with either fists or hands in the air. In other words, Bradley committed assault and Prosser defended himself.

If you read further, she’s committed assault and battery (in the legal sense) on former Justice Gableman when he had the audacity to call the Chief Justice “Shirley” also.

So Bradley is a serial criminal. And a Supreme Court Justice. Interesting. Let’s hear what our pet Doggie has to say about women who consistently assault men. Should we treat them the way we’re supposed to treat men who commit assault on women?

Now, we have two distinct possibilities as to why the “chokehold” meme took hold in the Sorosphere:
    a) The leftist weasels who leaked this are lying sacks of sh*t and hacks of the first magnitude. Well, that’s a given, but not necessarily the only possibility or the explanation in this case.
    b) Bradley decided to ratchet down the accusations when Prosser went the Judicial Commission about Bradley’s behavior and “Shirley’s” harassment and it became clear she was in trouble because too many folks were quite willing to take the other side on reporting what she did.

It’s essentially over for Prosser’s troubles, but now Bradley has to face the Judicial Commission and that could get interesting. But personally I bet they cave to “Shirley” and the other loony lefties and sweep it under the rug so that we can “move on.”
