Theory: Evidence!
By Mitch Berg
I’ve been monitoring a Saint Paul Politics discussion group.
It’d seem that turnout at DFL caucuses was incredibly heavy – and the Obama vote was staggering, with blowouts even worse than the one he notched statewide.
Anecdotally, most of these new voters seemed to be fairly clueless; many of them just dropped in, cast their ballots, and left (legal in the DFL, not in the GOP, although many tried).
Further evidence of my theory that Obama is the next Jesse Ventura; he’ll draw a slew of ignorant, clueless “voters” with his vaporous, vacuous “message” who would otherwise not have the faintest idea where the polls are. It’s interesting that the raw numbers of voters dropped in 2002. with Ventura out of the race.
Which, to some, is a good thing. But I have to ask – are uninformed, clueless “voters” good for the country?
They’re good for the DFL and the Tics, obviously; a lot of Republicans, myself included, started as Democrats until they got a clue.
Well, we’ll see.

After I remove your brash name calling and meaningless rhetoric I had the same concern for the Hit and Run voters who probably voted 3-1 for Obama, but when the dust settled, the actual caucus participants, who stayed for the heavy lifting was probably reversed in favor of Hillary. The good news there, for the country, not you folks, is that Hillary supporters are pretty committed to voting for whoever the eventual nominee is and will work just as hard even if their candidate doesn’t make it through. I am not so sure of Obama supporters.
As for getting a clue I have one dog already, and since the only ‘Clu’ I have actually ever witnessed you getting has four legs, I don’t have room for another one.

Maybe Romney should change his entire platform to just be one word…”Change”, then he will win big. Who cares about experience or accomplishments.

Republicans disdaining stupid voters. That’s rich. Guess we’re getting all our excuses in line for the inevitable November loss?
McCain. That’s gotta suck. Angryclown could live with McCain. Maybe even vote for him!

Flash, that seems reasonable…the real party activists are more for Hillary. The guy I know who has a Bush=Hitler bumper sticker on his car (and a button of the same on his jacket) is a big Hillary supporter.

Chuck blathered: “Maybe Romney should change his entire platform to just be one word…”Change””
Good idea. He changes positions more often than a Bangkok hooker.

“Good idea. He changes positions more often than a Bangkok hooker.”
If only he’d convert to baptism he’d take all of Huckabee’s delegates. There’s still time.

“changes positions more often than a Bangkok hooker.”

When AssClown types: “McCain. That’s gotta suck. Angryclown could live with McCain. Maybe even vote for him!”
AssClown means: “McCain. Angryclown could live with McCain. Maybe even suck him!”
