Avalanche Of Violence

By Mitch Berg

Someone in Wisconsin (presumably) has an active fantasy life:

The State Department of Justice confirms that it is investigating several death threats against a number of lawmakers in response to the legislature’s move to strip employees of many collective bargaining rights.

Among the threats the Justice Department is investigationg is one that was emailed to Republican Senators Wednesday night. Newsradio 620 WTMJ has obtained that email.

The following is the unedited email:

———-

Please put your things in order because you will be killed and your familes will also be killed due to your actions in the last 8 weeks. Please explain to them that this is because if we get rid of you and your families then it will save the rights of 300,000 people and also be able to close the deficit that you have created. I hope you have a good time in hell. Read below for more information on possible scenarios in which you will die.

WE want to make this perfectly clear. Because of your actions today and in the past couple of weeks I and the group of people that are working with me have decided that we’ve had enough. We feel that you and the people that support the dictator have to die. We have tried many other ways of dealing with your corruption but you have taken things too far and we will not stand for it any longer. So, this is how it’s going to happen: I as well as many others know where you and your family live, it’s a matter of public records.

We have all planned to assult you by arriving at your house and putting a nice little bullet in your head. However, we decided that we wouldn’t leave it there. We also have decided that this may not be enough to send the message to you since you are so “high” on Koch and have decided that you are now going to single handedly make this a dictatorship instead of a demorcratic process. So we have also built several bombs that we have placed in various locations around the areas in which we know that you frequent.

This includes, your house, your car, the state capitol, and well I won’t tell you all of them because that’s just no fun. Since we know that you are not smart enough to figure out why this is happening to you we have decided to make it perfectly clear to you. If you and your goonies feel that it’s necessary to strip the rights of 300,000 people and ruin their lives, making them unable to feed, clothe, and provide the necessities to their families and themselves then We Will “get rid of” (in which I mean kill) you. Please understand that this does not include the heroic Rep. Senator that risked everything to go aganist what you and your goonies wanted him to do. We feel that it’s worth our lives to do this, because we would be saving the lives of 300,000 people. Please make your peace with God as soon as possible and say goodbye to your loved ones we will not wait any longer. YOU WILL DIE!!!!

Well, isn’t that special?

If I were the Governor, I’d call up the National Guard to restore order.

By chaining the capital doors shut so duly elected representatives cannot attend their legislative session, union thugs are attempting nothing less than the overthrow of the Wisconsin government by violence.

If the Capitol Police can’t maintain order, then posse commitatus no longer applies. Drop the hammer on ’em.

  2. jpmn Says:

Nate it isn’t that the Capital Police can not maintain order, they will not maintain order.

Madistan and Dane County are beholden to ultra liberal politics. The Police Chief owes his job to the Mayor of Madtown and the Dane County Sheriff owes his job to the same people rioting at the Capital.

  3. Mitch Berg Says:

All the more reason to send the guard, and fire the cops that aren’t doing the job.

  4. Kermit Says:

Where are Janet Napolitano and Eric Holder? I thought they were so concerned with “home-grown terrorism”. Come on, Big Sis. This is the real deal.

If they really are making bombs, I got $5 says they blow their own dumb asses up.

  5. golfdoc50 Says:

Funny how none of this gets reported in the MSM. Remember the tea party rally in DC, when unsubstantiated reports of hate speech by demonstrators got round the clock coverage?

  6. MyGovIsNuts Says:

Unions are completely useless relics from a century gone by, just like buggy whips and Bruce Springsteen. Utterly useless and serve absolutely no positive or productive purpose in society.

  7. LearnedFoot Says:

“…like buggy whips and Bruce Springsteen.”

Oh man, you’re gonna pay for that one, I think.

  8. Mr. D Says:

Funny how none of this gets reported in the MSM.

Well, to be fair, it got prominent play in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, which has been providing outstanding coverage of everything going on in Wisconsin.

  9. MyGovIsNuts Says:

Foot: I’m sure someone around here will soon had a Keith Ellison-like meltdown, blubbering and sobbing like a child who lost his favorite toy.

  10. Mitch Berg Says:

    buggy whips and Bruce Springsteen

Ironically, I’ve been listening to “The Promise” on endless loop for the past four days. I actually have “Because The Night” and “Wrong Side Of the Street” in my headphones as I write this.

The original, Pre-Darkness On The Edge Of Town session versions of “Because The Night”, “Breakaway”, the title cut, a slew of rarities, a few songs that turned up with different lyrics later, and a few where you can hear snippets of that popped up in later songs (the phased guitar in “Breakaway” is exactly the same thing that turns up in “Something In The Night” on Darkness; the little guitar figure in “Wrong Side” later pops up in “The Ties That Bind” on The River).

    A really really amazing set.

Oh, someone’s bagging on Bruce? Enh. I turn on The Holy Trinity and I smile at the sky.

  11. MyGovIsNuts Says:

I hereby apologize for bringing the talent of he-who-shall-not-be-named up (or, more accurately, the complete absence of talent), which provoked the additionally mind numbingly horrible musical reference seen above. Sorry to put all you actually have good taste in music through this. I’ll have my wife spank me later…

  12. nate Says:

I keep reading legacy stories sounding as if Wisconsin had stripped public employees of all rights and sold them into slavery on plantations. I spent 15 minutes searching for the actual text of the law adopted and still I’m not sure I found it.

If it was House Bill 11 introduced in February, all that changed was (1) you can still collectively bargain over base wages but no longer over hours or working conditions; and (2) if you negotiate a base wage increase higher than the rate of inflation, the voters must approve it in a referendum.

The horror! Simon Legree must be licking his chops. No wonder Jesse Jackson thinks we’ve rolled back Civil Rights and compares this to Selma. No layoffs, no pay cut, no increased contribution to pension or health insurance – that’s all taken for granted. But limit our raises to the rate of inflation and you’ve gone too far, mister. Now, you must die.

And I thought Packer fans were nuts.

  13. Kermit Says:

Springsteen and Cheeseheads slammed in one thread. Now THAT’S terrorism!

Speaking of terrorism, I heard Richard Trumpka, president of the AFL/CIO is threatening to buy billboard space in Madison featuring himself wearing only a speedo. Tyrant Walker, beware!

  14. Chuck Says:

Here is what Rep Kapanke from La Crosse received:

“We will hunt you down. We will slit your throats. We will drink your blood. I will have your decapitated head on a pike in the Madison town square. This is your last warning.”

  15. Mr. D Says:

The one Kapanke received was pretty chilling. I will admit I was surprised to see that Khalid Sheikh Mohammed was able to re-up his WEAC membership.

  16. Chuck Says:

I’m from Wisconsin and have never heard of “Madison town square” or what its relevence is, which leads me to believe it is a Madison resident who sent this.

By the way, Kapanke is the number one target right now of George Soros and MoveOn.org.

  17. Terry Says:

    MyGovIsNuts wrote:
“Utterly useless and serve absolutely no positive or productive purpose in society.”
In general, yes, but in particular they aid the union members, who are paid salary and benefits they wold not receive if it were not for restraint of trade, and the Democrat politicians who are willing to screw the people in return for the unions financial support.

  18. MyGovIsNuts Says:

I stand by my definition of “useless”. And the related definitions. I’d prefer to listen to two cats screeching at Midnight in my backyard to more than 0.0000124369 seconds of the talentless Springsteen.

  19. Scott Hughes Says:

“Unions are completely useless relics from a century gone by, just like buggy whips and Bruce Springsteen.”

Buggy whips still provide a useful (if not carnal) purpose (wink, wink), unions and the Boss not so much.

Part of me wishes that Walker waited for the Dems to come back and quorum. And during the interim layoff the 1500, then after waiting a short while 1500 more, on and on till the cowards returned. Give them no quarter.

  20. Mr. D Says:

By the way, Kapanke is the number one target right now of George Soros and MoveOn.org.

Doesn’t surprise me. Kapanke was the Republican candidate for the WI-3 congressional district and came very close to winning last time against the incumbent, Ron Kind. Kind is vulnerable and Kapanke could win in 2012 should he choose to run again. Therefore, he must be destroyed.

  21. The Big Stink Says:

Springsteen was once rumored to be a candidate for Senator from New Jersey. That would make him the runner-up in the New Jersey Senate Talent Contest.

Sorry, that was too easy. As for Leftist anger and hostility? We complain we don’t read about it in the MSM, but who cares? They’re largely irrelevant. This defeat of unionism proves it!

  22. Kermit Says:

As much fun as it is to bag on The Boss, it should not detract from the actual point of the post. Liberal “progressives” have a mean streak a mile wide, and are far more likely to engage in violence than their conservative counterparts.
I’m trying to recall the last right wing riot. I think it was right after the last Lutheran riot.

  23. Mr. D Says:

    Kermit,

IIRC, the last Lutheran riot was in 1517. 1648 at the latest.

  24. Chuck Says:

Mitch, you have been a critic of some things about public schools. I think this speach by the national head of NEA pretty tells you all you need to know. He explicity stats that teaching isn’t about improving schools, but it is about power and money. It’s almost like a smoking gun against NEA, but of course its a liberal, so just crickets.

  25. MyGovIsNuts Says:

Anyone see the subtle use of the talentless Mister Springsteen? The post was on Unions and their Bosses. Nudge…nudge…

  26. Scott Hughes Says:

Like Kermit I also believe that “progressives” have a inherent mean streak. Certainly related to and caused by a life of self-loathing!

  27. nerdbert Says:

Well, it’s going national and they’re not even disguising the involvement of national SEIU. Over in Hudson they’re hauling in “activists” from Washington state and New York to try and get Harsdorf. Strangely enough, there’s some confusing entanglements between some church leaders, with one of the Methodist pastors who’s married to a “media specialist” in the Hudson schools trying to hijack the meeting. Very strange and convoluted, but you might want to check out the story: http://www.hudsonstarobserver.com/event/article/id/42073/.

  28. Scott Hughes Says:

I think there is every right for those that want to protest to do so. But to allow an unruly mob to take over the Capitol building I think was a big mistake; they could have accommodated the protesters on the grounds without allowing disruption of government functions, and an atmosphere of fear and anarchy in the state building. If the Capitol or Madison police were unable or unwilling to do their job then the State Police or WI Guard should have been called in to keep the building safely open for business.
If the threats are genuine then the full force of the state should be used to bring the perpetrators to justice. If the threat came from WI the State AG should pursue the matter aggressively. If it came from elsewhere the threat should be investigated by the FBI, and prosecuted by the Feds (good luck with that with Holder the AG). Lunatics are out there as demonstrated by the recent events in Tucson.

  29. Kermit Says:

Don’t expect any reaction from Eric Holder’s Injustice Dept. Democrats weren’t threatened, therefore no crime was committed. Nothing to see here, move along people.

  30. Kermit Says:

It’s not like they were standing in front of a polling place in New Black Panther uniforms waving weapons, after all.

  31. Terry Says:

Liberal “progressives” have a mean streak a mile wide, and are far more likely to engage in violence than their conservative counterparts.
    This is called “self-righteousness”, Kermit.
It’s very Hegelian and Marxist. History is on their side (from their POV) and history is the narrative of Man. It exactly takes the place of Abraham’s God in Western thought.
In this case there is also the open lust for money and the power to righteously seize the fruit of the labor of others.

  32. bosshoss429 Says:

Hopefully, they alerted the FBI who should then have had a computer forensics expert trace the emails back to the source and order ISP of this terrorist, then go arrest his cowardly ass.

I wonder how many signatures it would take for the FCC to yank the licenses of the lame stream propaganda affiliates for not serving the interests of the public? They certainly aren’t with their left leaning bias.

  33. jpmn Says:

Boss, who is in charge of the FBI right now? I wouldn’t look for any help from Big Sis, Eric Holder, or the Won. The WI Republicans should probably hire a private security firm like Blackwater.

As far as the MSM goes though the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel really hasn’t been that bad. At least it seems to be far less biased than the National outlets have been.

  34. Terry Says:

My God JPMN, you are a genius!
Send Blackwater after the WI union thugs.
Union guys usually pick on the weak and old. They are afraid of people who can hit back.

  35. Kermit Says:

Then draw a logical connection between al Qaeda and the WI union thugs. They seem to have similar objectives.

  36. jpmn Says:

What ever Terry, I said nothing about sending anybody after anybody. The Capital Police, the Madistan Police and the Dane County Sheriff have proven that they WILL NOT do their jobs when it comes to protecting elected officials in the Capital.

  37. Duptian Says:

As Holder will find no evidence of thought of ill reputed acts were contemplated against his people, there will be no need for further investigation.

  38. jpmn Says:

The Maciver Institute is reporting that someone who sent emails threatening to Kill Walker and WI Senate Republicans has been IDed. No report of any arrest however.
