Attention Ron Reagan

By Mitch Berg

Lets’ dignify  your absurd allegations with speculation –  more than they deserve.

All it proves is that a conservative with Alzheimers is a better president than a liberal.

That is all.

Was Ron wearing his tutu at the time?

  2. swiftee Says:

Whenever the subject of tutu-wearing Ron Reagan Jr. comes up, I can’t help but picture Sr. thusly.

  3. Tony Petroski Says:

    Blood is thicker than water.
    Liberalism is thicker than blood.

Lou Holtz, the legendary Gopher football coach (for a year and a half) used to have a schtick in which he’d outline those things that he told his players are important in life: He’d start with 1) God, then 2) Your family, 3) Your country, 4) Schoolwork, 5) Football…

He worked “social” into the list, but I’ve forgotten how.

For Ron Reagan Jr. (which goes a long way towards explaining “liberal leverage”–why they influence events in ways far beyond their numbers) the list would be: 1) Liberalism. 2) Political party. 3) Being a good citizen of the world. 4) Career. 5)…

  4. Chuck Says:

I always found it interesting that the only one of President Reagan’s children to turn out normal was his adapted son.

  5. Kermit Says:

    Chuck, I “adapted” my son too. He’s a hard-core 20-something conservative.

  6. Gavin Says:

Reagan left office in ’89 and was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s in early ’94. Someone claiming to have observed symptoms of Alzheimers 4-5 years prior to the diagnosis may indeed be wrong–though such a claim would not appear ‘absurd.’

  7. Kermit Says:

No Gav, but someone claiming to have observed symptoms of Alzheimers 20+ years after the fact would appear sleazy, overly dramatic and possibly politically motivated.
    Don’tcha think?

  8. Mr. D Says:

Frank Sinatra Jr., only with less credibility.

  9. Scott Hughes Says:

How long will it be before Eric and/or Andrew publish their book?

  10. angryclown Says:

Angryclown thinks you’d welcome the excuse for Iran-Contra. Of course, you wingnuts probably thought that was a great idea.
