President Obama likes to pretend that he’s delivered on a good chunk of his agenda.
But as Salon notes, it’s just not so:
A few broken promises, like Obama’s pledge to shutter the prison at Guantánamo Bay, are well known. But there are plenty more campaign promises that have disappeared down the memory hole — and that Obama would prefer to stay there. Here is a sampling of five:

1) No one making less than $250,000 will have to pay any more in taxes
2) If you like your doctor, you’ll be able to keep your doctor. If you like your health plan, you’ll be able to keep your health plan
Premeditated broken promises are also known as lies.

I didn’t see it, but a couple of friends that go to Huffpo and Media Mutters, claim that they have seen some shifts there, too. That said, unless the commenters have been traditionally left nuts, dissenting comments never seem to show up on the threads. Hmmm. Liberat censorship again rears its’ ugly head
