Open Letter to JB’s Co-Workers

I’m not sure what to make of this odd admission:
We moved into our house last March. Two days ago I did my first batch of laundry.
Do you use fans, or do you have a sterno-fueled potpourri burner?

Did he lose his maid? That totally sucks when you lose household staff.
Replacing them is very trying.
