A frequent earworm. Nothing matters but the weekend from a Tuesday point of view.
Released on my birthday, no less.
Love the video approach of seamlessly cutting in shots of the band performing this song in different venues – and time periods. It looked like they never got bored performing this song. Someone could probably make a similar video of the “Oneders” singing “That Thing You Do” using clips from the various venues in the movie.
Very fond memories of that one, too. Me and Zero request you in the Mercedes.
The Kings are a guilty pleasure of mine as well. When I heard this song back in the day, it meant go find the nearest party — now!
