As Regular As The Sands Of Time

By Mitch Berg

News articles we see as regularly as the rising and falling of the tide:

The spring of every election year: “Evangelicals swinging toward the left! (when a poll shows the Democrat vote among Evangelicans rose from 22% to 23%)

Every decade, during “festival” season: “Country music is moving to the left!” (when some flavor of the month singer goes on “The View” instead of the NASCAR pre-race show”

Of course country & western is moving to the left. Why, you can hardly tune into a C&W station these days without listening to Lil’ Nas X, the Dixie Chicks, or Taylor Swift.

Oh, wait. Of course, reality is that acts that move leftward tend to migrate away from C&W, and apart from a greater acceptance of tattoos these days, I really don’t see a huge difference between the lifestyles of C&W singers today and those of the past, nor their political convictions–except maybe they’re a bit more conservative.

off-topic, but needs to be kept on everyone’s mind:

But it may even be worse than that. If, as the study suggests, covid (jab) includes HIV, and works like HIV, then it is possible that the worst is yet to come. HIV starts with cold-like symptoms, just like covid, but then remains dormant for 8-10 years before the truly serious immune deterioration begins.

The connections between covid and HIV aren’t new. Over the last two years, there have been any number of signs of similarities cropping up between HIV and covid, as well as increasing government interest in HIV.
