Picture, If You Will…
By Mitch Berg
You’re a security guy.
You’re securing a public figure – part of an administration brings out the crazy in the crazies, and who has herself gotten plenty of “admiration” from the “Professor Bill” set. She completely meets the criteria set down in Berg’s 8th Law.
You’re securing her in a crowded room full of people you have to keep your eye on.
Suddenly, someone comes in the room, bellowing DO YOU KNOW WHO I AAAAAAAM?
You do not know who he is. He looks like pretty much 100,000 other people within a 10 mile radius.
But he just won’t shut up.
So, with visions of John Thompson and Butler PA and Rand Paul in mind, you do your freaking job.
And this is what you get:
The entire left – no, the entire left – is up in a snit about it.
I mean, who does he think he is? Someone trying to go to church in 2020?

I’m not sure what agency those security guys were from who took down Padilla today, but I for one would like to commend them on a job well done.
They quickly neutralized a direct threat to their principal with minimal force and no serious injuries.
They performed their job perfectly–well done guys.
Oh, yeah… Hey, remember when parents (fathers) of girls traumatized or even assaulted in their locker rooms were dragged out of public school board meetings for trying to speak out?

I just laugh at the people saying that security should have immediately gotten off of him once he identified himself. To quote the old lady in that commercial, “That’s not how any of this works.”
I’m not law enforcement. My work experience is decidedly retail, but I’m a fairly large guy and I used to be younger. I’ve been on the periphery a couple of times when our store security has taken down shoplifters. I’ve usually been tasked with standing between the bystanders and the actual security personnel doing their jobs. The suspect ALWAYS screams something like;
“You’re hurting me!!”
“I’ve got a bad shoulder!!”
“I’m not resisting!!”
Their goal is to get Security to loosen their hold BEFORE the suspect is fully secure so they can try to get away. Trained Security and Law Enforcement Officers DO NOT let up until the suspect is fully secured and no longer struggling, preferably in restraints, no matter what is said. So it doesn’t matter who the suspect is or what he says. As Mitch pointed out, Security’s job is protect their principle. As long as someone is acting like this, it doesn’t matter who they are. Subdue and Restrain. Then sort it out.
Also, we seem to have an epidemic of Democrat Congresscritters that think their oversight role gives them 24/7 access to any facility and administration officials.
Want to tour and review an ICE Facility in New Jersey? Set up an appointment. If you try and barge in there and assault officers while doing so, you can, should, and apparently will be charged by the DoJ. Congrats Rep. LaMonica
Want to tour and review an ICE Facility in Los Angeles? Again, set up an appointment. Don’t demand access in the middle of a riot. At least for Maxine Waters sake, she’s too old and decrepit to start assaulting the Cali Guard Trooper that politely told her the facility was sealed, so she didn’t get charged.
Want to question DHS Secretary Noem? Have your Senate Committee send a subpoena and bring her to Capitol Hill. Barge in and act erratic and possibly threatening instead, and at best you’re going to eat carpet until Security hauls you out of the room.
FAFO. Gotta love it.

Per what Smith notes, and per some things I remember from carry permit class and elsewhere, when you’re as big as Padilla is–he’s clearly at least 6’4″, as he towers over the guards–you don’t get a pass for aggressive behavior the way you might if you’re 5’6″. An MIT grad like Padilla ought to know and respect that. You barge in, try to talk over the speaker instead of being recognized, don’t show any ID….yeah, it’s going to be rough for you.
Quite frankly, Padilla ought to be glad he wasn’t tased, or treated like a bad dog.

Yup! Decorum from the DemoCommies has definitely gone out the window. There have been several shouting matches during congressional hearings and debates. Yesterday, Dem Rep from New York, John Mannion, yelled at a fellow New York representative, to grow some balls. There were two children present in the chambers, too. Apparently, Mannion has had several former staffers call him out for a toxic workplace, including emotional abuse, homophobia and harassment.
On another note, this is pretty entertaining.

It wouldn’t bothered me had he been restrained in the method they taught to Derek Chauvin. Aside from that Padilla was lucky he didn’t get tased.

Democrat legislators shot? Three thoughts:
1. I have an alibi.
2. You don’t shoot the enemy AFTER the battle is won meaning this probably wasn’t a Republican but likely a disgruntled Liberal upset about undocumented immigrant health care cuts.
3. How are those new rules working out for you?
Not offering thoughts and prayers because I know how much Democrats hate that. I’m respecting their wishes.

Bigman, you get an A plus. It was indeed a DFL type, former appointee in the Dayton and Walz Administrations. He has a PhD in education, so I suppose we have to call him Doctor Boelter.
June 15th, 2025 at 6:29 am
Oh, KARE is reporting that the assassin’s roommate claims that Boelter voted for Donald Trump and is a strong supporter of the President.

So there, you fascist King Trump supporters. It’s all your fault.

Trump doesn’t wait for a deadlocked Congress to act, he unilaterally issues executive orders. He’s acting like a king. No other president has done that, ever, and certainly didn’t brag about it.

Let face facts. The DFL is bought & paid for by the deep state. What we are seeing now is a civil war inside the DFL with the radical side eager to preserve their source of government largess. Big money is involved. They’re not above murder.
I have a suggestion; As a campaign promise, the Republicans propose a Minnesota Department of Government Efficiency. I suggest enlisting @DataRepublican. While Eton Musk’s efforts yielded big results, his technology is somewhat dated. I would enlist Jay Valentine to pioneer the effort with his fractal computing. Want to bet a MN DOGE wouldn’t be a campaign winner?

Jay Dee.
A version of DOGE/State IG, was brought to the floor by the GOP. Democrats all voted no, so it went nowhere. If I’m one of the sponsors of that bill, I would keep hammering it home.
